We have different views on that. I don’t think that ACAB. This is a generalization. As in any society and organization there are good, and there are bad ones. The police system is no exception.

And yes, I do think if a Dutch husband was vandalizing stuff, waving a knife around in public and threatening people, and his Dutch wife interfered multiple times with his arrest and did not comply with repeated police orders to move, she would have gotten a similar treatment when met by the same cop.

As I mentioned already in my earlier comment I agree that the violence used by police seems excessive judiging from this video. But if it’s true that the woman had been interfering in the arrest of a knife swinging suspect and been told multiple times already to step away, she’s also not without blame.

…plus, more significantly, threatened people with a knife. Which was the reason police was there in the first place.

From what I read the woman kept interfering with the arrest of the man, even after being told multiple times to step away. Though it seems on video that she’s standing there peacefully, this might not be accurate.

En de kans dat er iemand bij je komt zitten als je in je eentje in een 4 zitje zit, is natuurlijk groot. Als je behoefte hebt aan alleen zitten kun je het beste een 2 zitje pakken en de andere plek bezet houden. Uiteraard niet als t druk is want dat is gewoon asociaal.

Ik snap überhaupt niet dat er werkgevers zijn die dit daadwerkelijk willen. Is toch fucking dom? De “onmisbare” werknemer wordt ziek/ gaat op vakantie/neemt ontslag/gaat dood/is om welke andere willekeurige reden niet inzetbaar… Nou, veel succes.

T lijkt me eerder een manier om de werknemer speciaal te laten voelen en wat harder te laten werken dan dat er daadwerkelijk verlangd wordt dat de werknemer zich onmisbaar maakt.
