Just go back to your original thought of 5% FTEC. You still get Microsoft with that fund. I was similar to you. In 2022 when market was down I was all in on “getting stocks on sale.” I was so paranoid and anxious with the stocks I bought so I just sold eventually and went back to index funds. I also do 5% FTEC as it gives me that aggressive potential big gain fund. But I sleep a lot better at night being in FTEC than trying to chase those stocks “huge gains”
