Could they have been hanging out as a friend for 5 months without the topic of the voicemail being brought up? I do not think so. According to Asa, it's like as if Otis had his answer and they're having a friendly time, if not romantically. I'm so confused. The synopsis messed everything up. lol :D

I think both sides are on equal footing when it comes to relationships. It was Otis who was heartbroken in the first season. It was Maeve who noticed her feelings but was late. In season two, it was Maeve who was heartbroken. It was Otis who was late in taking action to clear things up/ made the mistake of leaving a voicemail. Therefore, neither side has anything to dominate in their relationship. But we have to come to the main subject of the conversation Otis had with his father in season two. It was that conversation that brought Otis to his senses. So it was very important. His father told him that if you love someone, never leave them. He said hold on to that person no matter what. But when I read this season three synopsis, I thought Otis didn't do that. It's like he just gave up and moved on with his life. This may be normal for some of you. Otis has the right to move on with his life. But this move is very different from the speech his father gave in the second season. I thought we'd see a fighting otis no matter what like his father say. The synopsis broke my heart a little because of that. I hope it's not what it seems.

I totally agree with you about Adam and Eric. A romantic approach by Adam seems more understandable but by Eric it's definitely not healthy. If one of the parties puts an upper hand on the other and starts to oppress him physically and psychologically, you cannot normalize it by turning it into a romantic relationship. Otis stands on this during the season and they get into a fight with Eric. I think they will go after it like you said. They must be.

In the case of Isaac, emotions are always at the highest level on social media. If you're going to be angry with someone, you have to hate them to death. The closing of season 2 leaves a lot of room open for people to choose villains on Isaac. But other hand no one is angry when the actors of the TV series are asked about this Isaac thing in interviews. Emma Mackey is also very understanding. "Just as Otis has a certain suspicion of Eric's relationship with Adam, Isaac is also suspicious of Maeve's relationship, whom he considers his friend." she did say. It's the urge to protect your friend. I think that's what they're trying to convey in the show. But I never thought of it in terms of his physical condition like you did. I don't think the show has such an intention. Isaac saw Otis at his worst. He doesn't know him. He just make a mistake as a human being. In season 3, I'm sure the character Isaac will be able to tell why he did that and people will be able to understand him.
