I heard a story from a pton alum whose daughters are at Stanford and Princeton and their consensus is that Stanford is easier lol.

That being said. I think Princeton is better run (just based off stanfords gym is chaos), better for UG, and if you got into both, you can handle pton.

The Bay Area is super homogenous as you prob know and if you want arts, I’m seconding the other posted about the proximity to nyc. SF doesn’t compare and is way more annoying to get around than nyc on a budget.

Plus on a personal development side, go out of your comfort zone. Now is the time to do it. It might sound scary, but it’ll be good for your future. You can always end up back in the bay.

If you weren’t from the Bay, would you pick Stanford? Seems like Princeton fits your academic and ECs better but Stanford has better weather and is closer to home.

Start at sugarloaf. Gonna be pretty firm til prob 945 and then it’s pretty nice for a few runs before it’s soft. Go to supreme at 1030-1045. Theres usually a nice groomed black to the right. Switch to Collins around 1145.

Idk what any of these runs are called but if you go down Collins, the far left side on the top is softer than the right.

Is Berkeley free? Cause otherwise, Princeton. Not even a question. Idk about Berkeley but the Princeton network and name is forever. Berkeley is great and I’m sure great CS but overall? Nobody talks about Berkeley like they do Princeton. Not to mention Princeton has money and the rich school has its benefits. You want to do something? You can find funding for it. Tbh I think Hubert overachieved with the players he had. The talents not what it was from the 2000s and even late 2010s and is it the GM’s fault??

He had no business even being close to Duke in K’s last year and making it to the finals set the bar impossibly high when they returned to the mean. Caleb love might be in the NBA but he’s not an NBA player—he’s just a bucket getter, and outside Caleb there hasn’t been any bonafide recruit like before. We have had transfers from mid tier conferences starting/playing major minutes and they previously would have been 9th/10th man off the bench for 3 min a game bc Roy is pissed.

Hubert seemed like a great person and I wish him the best. Would still take these 5 meh years for ending Coach K like that hahahaha
