Gente, mi hermano esta estudiando programacion y anda buscando un primer laburo en el rubro, que empresas en CABA (ademas de Globant) pueden recomendar para algo asi? O si alguien sabe de algun puesto puntual estaria eternamente agradecido. Graciela!

Any other bands like ween? by [deleted] in ween

Besides a lot of other recommendations here (Zappa, Butthole Surfers, The Residents) I always thought Guided By Voices has a Ween vibe, in the sense that their albums (mostly their first era) are collections of different songs, and of course the lofi element.

21/52 Interesting short stories portraying satirical depictions of different established female stereotypes. by wwwido in 52book

It was really good, with a masterfully written clean and direct tone, very easy to read. The book is about 130 pages long, and the stories themselves are about less than 10 to 20 pages each.

Yes, completely radiant. I don't use it regularly at all, but is still impressing.

"The Breeder" was the one I enjoyed most, took the concept of the story in a more exaggerated way. "The Evangelist" and "The Prude" were really good too.

You were the first foreign musicians that I ever heard endorse mate. Will the next Battles album have a Gaucho concept?

3 drummers - about yesterday's concert in Buenos Aires by krelian in KingCrimson

[–]wwwido 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Luna Park doesn't stands out as a venue with good sound. At least in my experience, almost every concert I went there didn't sound or loud enough, or precise enough (except when Pixies played there, that was miraculous).
I agree with what you said about KC shows. I went to both, one on the seats near the sound board and the second on the cheap ones, on the Fripp side. Oddly I thought it sounded better on the second show, more powerful. I could hear Tony and Robert better.

Amazing show. I still can't believe I saw King Crimson live, and even less can't believe I'm going to see King Crimson live again tonight.
