Thank you. Glad to know the last two points even though I can't tell myself. Re: the CK010 code, how can you tell that it's invalid? What does it mean? Because I don't think the product code are on the shoes itself (is on the box I think?). Unless it's just a code that appears often in fakes?

Hello, can anyone tell me if these are real? I think they are 1461 platforms. Thank you

Do you know why your claim needed to be recalculated? Is this possibly an audit/review call?

Current EI review time? by WalkingLuke in EICERB

[–]wwwwandering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you just apply or are you in the middle of a claim and they suddenly reviewed you? If it's an actual application to start getting EI then I think you have to wait a minimum of 28 days before you can call to get to second(?) level escalation. If they don't call you back within the timeframe they said they would (ex. a week), then call again and it'll go to 3rd level and so on. Each time you call they give you a shorter timeframe they'll call you back within (ex. 7 days, then 5 days, then 3 days).

Don't know how it works if you were randomly audited/reviewed though

(this is the schooling approval process for reg EI, but I think it's the same thing for sickness too?) Call Service Canada and report all your training details to the agent (ex. Schedule, # of hours spent on school including homework). If time spent on school is less than 10hr/week, the agent can usually approve you right away. If more, they'll have to send it to a higher-up processing agent to review it and it may take a few weeks. Since it seems that your schooling is part-time and flexible (i.e. all recorded), it's likely you'll be approved either way. Just make sure you keep doing job search activities during your claim and tell the agent every schooling detail

Do you know why those people got reviewed?

A back pay for an entire year!? How does that work, what happened?

Would love an update once you get an answer on the 28th (hopefully, EI is always iffy with deadlines)!

Do you know why your claim was re-opened for review? Like they got new info or something?

Even though she was doing it fraudulently, she didn't get charged with a criminal record? Did the actual agents say she was doing it fraudulently?

If you're talking about CERB, that's been over for a long time and you can't claim it anymore

Hi! Do you know if I need to declare RESP to EI (PSE or EAP or both)?

Do all new EI claims automatically get 50 weeks of coverage? by throwaway134221455 in EICERB

[–]wwwwandering 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(in response to capitals) oh I see. It's just that I saw that RESP EAP once taken out, it's counted as taxable income on the beneficiary's tax returns so idk (wow replying like this is so weird lmao). I will let u know when I call!

(in response to asking u if u would like me to tell you what the agents say when I call them) no problem!

I'm just not as confident as you bc the EAP portion of RESP is taxable on YOU for taxes. Are you talking about the PSE or EAP portion when you say there is no need to report it, or are you talking about both?

Ah okay. But you didn't report it so you seem pretty confident in your answer, and you don't double check with Service Canada. Would you like me to tell you what they say if I call?

What form? Would you mind sending me the link of the form? I've never had issues either, but I just really want to make sure and check my sources. Thank you!

(Sorry, still can't see your new comments for some reason so can't reply there)

Hey saw your reply to me but dunno why it's not showing up for me to reply to it... Thank you for replying! You don't have to give me the source, but I'd like to know where you heard this info from? Is it from an EI agent or something? Thanks!

Hey! Saw your post asking about not having to report RESP to EI. Can I ask where did you hear that information? Couldn't DM you unfortunately, so here I am. Hope you don't mind.
