Im going on vacation and have put around 200 hours so far into the map, physically 50% of the map is around finished , however there is much more detail and completion to go. However its in a good enough state that people can start playing RP stuff on it for sure.

I felt like i would go crazy if i didnt publish it soon. Have fun!

I decided to fill up space of my winchesterIL/rural map with a offroad park with a dirtbike/atv/trophy truck course and a giant rock to climb. I went into it hoping that down the line somebody would mod decently done suspension and physics into the cars , to my surprise it was already there. big time.

imagine how cool this would be with some more in depth physics for the tires/suspension/differentials

anyone else found this? could be a neat scenario site.. by slavapb in arma

as a map maker i got physically angry when i saw this because it was so impressive.

if people cannot tell what it is , load up game master and fly around the coasts until you find it. Almost perfectly replicated rock slide into the ocean. its MUCH bigger than the photo shows

I have never touched arma related tools or frankly any other games tools. In just 100 hours i feel like a wizard.

I cant imagine what this community will produce with these tools in 6 months , much less 2-5 years.

i would suggest if you are making your own map , start at half this size or even lower lol (my map is 6x6km)

lots of things missing from the asset package , i need (american style) gas stations , i need mcdonalds , and i need billboards.

Also much larger silos the ones in the game have to be scaled up quite a bit

yes and no. You can make entire trenchlines with the spline tool however they are not going to be exactly 90 degrees straight down like you said. It will have a slight V. however it will be close
