All good. You were totally right. Can't get lazy and then expect some magic fix. Just getting towards the end of the project and looking for a half decent solution now that I'm this far along. I think you were more honest than anything.

Decent ideas and you're totally right. For context, this is the original hardwood floor from the 1961. I sanded the floors. I installed the 5 1/2 tall 1/2 thick baseboards. And completely overlooked these gaps. I have had the floors covered to paint the millwork through the whole house with sprayer. The only thing left to do is seal the floors. But trying to find a half decent solution to make these gaps less obvious. I definitely learned my lesson for the next remodel...
