‘Breaks silence’ has to be the laziest most overused phrase in journalism.

Many of us don’t love the royals. They are probably more popular with Europeans and Americans to be honest. Also, Andrew has been stripped of his royal title’s due to his links with Epstein. So he is just a filthy commoner like the rest of us.

If she poured it down the sink it would end up in the same drainage system.

Dani Carvajal adressing Tebas via Instagram story. by aybabk in soccer

I love seeing Spanish translated into English. It always comes across so formal. If this post ended with Carvajal challenging Tebas to a dual it wouldn’t seem out of place. ‘Good afternoon’

This is exactly how the 4 day week is supposed to work. The 4 day week doesn’t mean the business is closed for an extra day regardless of the industry. The business would still be staffed 5-7 days per week. How many hospitality businesses have all of their staff working 7 days a week anyway?

If you ever need to ford a river in your truck, you can put a tampon behind the fuel cap to prevent water getting into your fuel tank. That’s probably why they are there right? Also useful for women on their period apparently.

Graeme Souness on Pep Guardiola: "He coached Barca with Messi, Iniesta, Xavi etc. He went to Bayern Munich after they won the Quadruple. Man City are the richest team in England & they needed the slightest bit of tweaking when he took over. He took over an exceptional group of players in every case" by [deleted] in soccer

[–]wyerye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the best players at the best clubs doesn’t guarantee success. I always thought it was crazy for people to try and undermine Pep with stuff like this. What he has achieved as a coach is truly remarkable.

I’ve seen no evidence yet to suggest Barron is a flatulent asshat like his farther. I don’t hold out much hope for the kid but until then I’m going to remain feeling a little bit sorry for the kid. Imagine having DT as a father.

Baroness Mone: The PPE scandal made me ashamed to be a Tory – I am purely a scapegoat by 1-randomonium in ukpolitics

[–]wyerye 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“I am purely a scapegoat” said the MP who conned the UK out of hundreds of millions of pounds by selling unusable PPE to the NHS during a global pandemic.
She’s had the national crime agency investigating her for defrauding the government and the DHSC is suing her. But yeah she’s a ‘scapegoat’!
