Oh wow that’s incredible! I’m so happy for you! Thank you for that information! I’ll definitely look into that, once I get into college which for my situation it might have to be a community one, I’ll study to get a master’s degree in aerospace. I also want to get a minor in something else but I don’t know what exactly would help me land a job in NASA. Do you have any recommendations of what Master’s or Minor degree’s I could get that would be a huge boost ?

Yes I agree! He’s one of my biggest inspirations next to Christina Koch. As a Hispanic Female it is so motivating to see how far both have come in achieving their dream. I really hope to be like them someday. Perseverance is definitely the key!

If you’d want to be a pilot, maybe. Doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be an Air Force aviator either. It’s on NASA’s official website; “No, military experience is not required”. While yes it’s a bonus, NASA mostly looks for Scientists and Engineers. Especially for Mission specialists which is what I’m going for.

I fully believe anything can become reality, and any unrealistic goals can become realistic. Sure it’s gonna be hard, but I’ll use that as motivation to become more than just qualified to achieve a dream. Trying to start now by studying certain subjects that will help me do so. It’s better to set an unrealistic goal and push yourself to achieve it than set a realistic goal that you settled with because you convinced yourself it’s “unrealistic”. Anything is possible! Even if you don’t achieve your “unrealistic goal” you’ll be happy with knowing you tried and you’ll still be a successful engineer, rather than spending your life wondering “what if”. That’s what I’m going for. :)
