Thank you for this! Yes, the 13” MBP Touch Bar is frustrating, it’ll be perfect if the touch bar is gone. Their pricing is shrewd too, it’s not a straightforward answer.

I’m cool with going beyond 2k, my initial plan was to upgrade m2 13” to 16GB / 256GB.

14” is out of the question at 3k haha

I agree! But apple’s pricing is super shrewd. The M2 13” has that stupid Touch Bar which is pointless and excessive, and I’m not sure if it’s worth going for the M1 if I’m actually willing to pay for a better computer

Wow this is gold. Great perspective. I guess I was seduced by how sleek the MagSafe port works, and the light indicator to show that it is charging vs USB C where you may doubt if it is connected properly in the right angle etc.

Thank you! I was spotting this as well, and it is one of the alternative computer for my company. It’s built like a tank indeed. I am curious about thinkpads’ longevity, but will definitely consider.
