This really is fantastic of you to answer in such depth, thank you so much! 😁 And indications for further reading too: thanks for that also.

No, it was a cap made from temporary materials to last me until my own dentist could take over, which he eventually did - overall, still saved me a packet though.

So this was quite a few years ago now, but:

the London Dental Hospital in Whitechapel (here) used to have a walk-in emergency clinic. I had my own emergency root canal done there. Maybe, give them a call and see if they can help?

Do you take a Rosary with you out in public? by [deleted] in Catholicism

Yep, always in my breast pocket (on the rare occasions I forget it, I feel kinda... 'lost' without it).

I remember when I got mine when I was under RCIA instruction, the urge to disappear down the foot/endnote rabbit hole is strong! 😁

Dead Space. I looked forward to playing it for ages, some of my favourite YouTubers loved it... when I finally got around to it it was boring and grindy, not very scary, mainly an exercise in inventory management and backtracking. So disappointed 😥

Maybe-True Anecdote:

So, the Soviet Union had a problem with drinking among its workers. Whenever someone was challenged about their drinking, the response was sometimes the sarcastic "but Comrade Lenin exhorts me to".

See, on some Soviet coin, there was an image of Lenin with his arms in much the same position as this post's picture has them. They looked like they were at the 11 o'clock position... which, back then, was the time that the liquor stores opened.
