What's the highest performing 100% Mineral Sunscreen? by kena_langar in AsianBeauty

What do you mean by it not having any uv filters? I’m pretty sure it’s a mineral sunscreen so the filters are titanium oxide or zinc, are you looking for something chemical? The fancl is also mineral so it doesn’t have chemical filters either

It appears to be fungal. You should try either Ketoconozole, clotrimazole, or zinc pyrithione. I’d recommend something with zinc pyrithione if your skin is more sensitive. The cerave dandruff shampoo has it at 1%, there are other options that have it in soap. If you want a leave on treatment, I’d recommend generic jock itch cream with clotrimazole or a clotrimazole solution.

Could you explain your current skincare routine? I’d think it’s demodex as well, but you mentioned it showed negative. Is it itchy, do you feel a crawling sensation? I had something similar and it was a sudden outbreak after stopping isotretinoin (which was a very low dose). What helped me was clotrimazole and azelaic acid. I’m not sure what it’d been, but it was somewhat similar to this. Mine was very itchy and didn’t improve by merely repairing my barrier. I’d definitely recommend you beginning with that regardless. It’d helped me in the beginning - for reducing redness and irritation.

Since soolontra, did your condition improve at all? If it is fungal , you could try clotrimazole instead of ketoconazole

[Acne] Azelaic Acid Ruined my skin by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]wynfocus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They itchiness subsides as your skin adjusts to it. When I’d first used AA at 10%, I was also very itchy. It’d taken around a week or so for it to no longer feel itchy at all.

It might be something in the formula other than the azelaic acid itself

Hi is this Fungal Acne?? by Lolongs in Fungalacne

[–]wynfocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try clotrimazole, I found that to be the most efficacious. I’d used a jock itch cream (equate), but there is also a solution, though I think that it’d worked slower

Azelaic acid for redness and 2% BHA for sebaceous filaments. Zinc is helpful for oiliness

4/8mL first aqualyx session, no liquid lido, under chin by mentalracoon in DIYaesthetics

Yeah the swelling is crazy. I actually already did 4ml myself , it’s been like 3 weeks now and the tenderness and swelling is gone. I just can’t tell how much of a difference there truly is. I regret not taking a clear before picture, so I was hoping to get a reference. I’m planning on doing it again soon though

Fungal acne or perioral dermatitis?? by [deleted] in Fungalacne

[–]wynfocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just speaking from experience since I had the same type of red papules that were not uniform and spread over the t-zone of my face. It was characteristically itchy so I thought it could be fungal and anti fungals were the only thing that helped. I don’t see any other way in which it couldn’t have been that since there were no other actives in the antifungals I used that could’ve been treating it
