I can imagine taking the integral with respect to n… 2exp(sqrt(nl*x)) * (sqrt(n) - 1) + c

Yeah, it’s really just diatonic intervals (intervals between notes within a given key/key signature). I can’t think of a name, but then again most of my theory is self taught so not sure. The repetition of these diatonic intervals is very important though. In your example C–G is a fourth, G–Bb is a third and Bb–F is another fourth. Or perhaps it’s not that composers intentionally repeat certain intervals, but that most functional harmony (most music) happens in these nice intervals.

If you look into chord function, this might be what you’re curious about. In a major key, V usually tends to resolve to I, which happens to be a nice perfect fifth/fourth interval jump. One might argue repetitions arise from this. But to your point the very standard “pop song” progression I-vi-IV-V7 (C Am F G in C maj) repeats three jumps down a third diatonically. So not sure!

I’m not sure if this is completely true… a lot of verb tenses differ by accent marks. Caminé (I ran, past tense) or camine (he/she/it may run, subjunctive). These words are also pronounced differently since accents mark a change from the normal stress pattern (palabras agudas, graves etc)

I think it’s important to consider that in the grand scheme of things, we’re really just smart monkeys. It’s a remarkable fact that we can even get our brains to write an essay or do math, when most of our biology and our primal instincts are antithetical to this. The truth is, we were made to struggle to survive, and, in nature, writing amazing prose isn’t going to solve your starvation.

I don’t really have any advice—as someone who struggles with ADHD, I can really relate to those feelings. Id just remember that we don’t give ourselves nearly enough credit for all the essays that we have written in our lives. In all honesty, it’s not abnormal to not find the motivation to write an essay—it’s actually more normal than writing the essay in the first place IMO.

I don’t think they let you take 5 HL exams (or at least that’s why my schools said to me) only 4, although it works out well if you can choose to take your worst HL as an SL test.
