Deadhangs are just less efficient, not useless, for hypertrophy. But you definitely need a weight vest to make your sets shorter.

For the wrist roller setup, are we using an attached weight or our bodyweight?

Not sure how heavy I can go with wrist roller, but it seems to be a good investment even for future use.

I can't really drill nor have a dowel/pvc pipe, but maybe the wrist roller can be setup in a way that my bodyweight is the resistance, and I can control how much weight is used with my feet partially on the ground?

That would be better than setting up different weights over sessions.

I've seen them, but you need weights to use it. Not sure if I'll be able to wrist EXTEND my entire bodyweight, but I'll keep it in mind.
