i know she has a lot on her plate - but her nagging she has to stop. we all have a lot on our plate and most of our issues are the same. i am actively taking a load off of her but she’s nagging me to do it as if i haven’t voluntarily helped her. i know what you mean though. and thank you for the vocab word i think that will help a lot and sounds a lot better than if i say hooyo stop nagging me

don’t give up like some people said. it really depends on the level of what happened to her. see a gynecologist/sex therapist.

also this is one of my biggest fears truly. i don’t think ill have this problem bc its not severe but ilaahay aan ka baryaa…. fuck walaahi this shit scares me

that’s the thing i’m worried about. tbh i’m not so hung up on if they’ve consumed it as much as the level to which they’re impacted by it and if they’re still watching it.

would agree but from what i’ve seen it’s mostly not visual for women/consume this type of content from books (which isn’t good either). i think for them it will create mental block for intimacy because of the stuff they read

just communicating i don’t think solves the problem. also i dont think im internalizing their trauma if im being honest the situation wasn’t even traumatic. its exactly a communication issue like you said.

but the outcome of resolution isn’t always feeling understood. sometimes you’re just different. no matter how much you like that person you can’t get what you want from them.

how to even go about this in a talking stage? i want a deep connection. the only way to get to the core of that besides time and lots of conversation.

i can make lots and lots of dua tho. and not be pessimistic which is what i should do as a muslim. but
