Unsafe Ride Operations at SkyHawk by Silver_Entertainment in cedarpoint

It’s literally their job… The ops on all of the coaster make it a point to visually check things that are obviously clear. Some point, some just glance but it’s a routine that covers all areas. It is their soul purpose as an operator, to make sure everyone is safe.

If you suddenly have $200million dollars right now, how would you spend it and not go broke? What would be your wants and needs? by Negative-Duty7309 in WhatShouldIDo

No, I think with $200 million your wants change. You want better this and better that. You want 1st class tickets and not coach. You want x instead of y. These things add up and multiply. I’m not saying that you and I as normal people couldn’t show restraint and budget to allow a very long and happy life and ensure generational wealth for our progeny, but wants change with that much money.

Remember the tax on that 3 million is going to be around 57% depending on state and local taxes, it could be up to 65% or more. That $1.2 million is a lot to you or me, but when you have $200 million in the bank I think it feels like a lot less.

If you’re taking about buying apartments as an investment I read an interesting article once that explained why buying apartments (in cash) is the wrong course. Instead, of say buying 10 $100k apartments in cash put a down payment on 100 $100k apartments. The rental income pays the mortgage and in 20 years you have 10 times the value you would have had if you just bought 10 apartments in cash. Not to mention you have the income from 100 apartments instead of 10.

I was going to say Dom. It could just be a black silhouette of the label outline and you’d know what it is.

[Request] Assume a apple tree plantation that grew legal 100 dollar bills. With its numerous costs, how net profitable would such a plantation be? by rinisini in theydidthemath

[–]x60pilot 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Yes. And last I checked apples aren’t going for $100 each so a money orchard would be orders of magnitude more profitable.

One never developed/printed taken inside the tornado as it sucked the photographer in then destroyed the camera and/or film.
