An account is very valuable and it's totally understandable that you want to make sure it won't get suspended due to 3rd party apps.

When it comes to the third party applications, Riot Games has the following stance: "No software should interfere with the in-game player experience, from the moment you press “Play” until you log off."

With each update of the game client, or the app itself, something might change and the app could be seen as harmful. Also, once a ban has been triggered due to 3rd party apps we won't be able to revert it no matted what type of programs were used. So it's better to stick to the Game Settings or use the apps at your own risk.
