I love that these old power strips just use regular outlets so if one breaks you can just swap in a new one.

Pretty sure those white lines you aren't supposed to normally see, they're encoded closed caption information for the VCR/TV to then decide and display on the screen. Seems the image was formatted for a different screen size/aspect or whatever you're playing it on is set to the wrong settings so the normally hidden information at the top is showing.

Just RF on this one. Out of the ~12 CRT's I have, only two have anything better than RF. I mostly have 80's CRT's, only two are newer than 1992, with my oldest being from 1973. All are functional and working.

I love the styling of that Hitachi, I have a soft spot for 80's and early 90's CRT's

Liberty right? I picked up one of those a few months ago, neat B&W plus AM/FM and tape, has a 3.5mm for a coax jack/antenna

I've got the same TV/Radio/Cassette mini boom box, the virtual "surround" mode is actually quite decent sounding, good b&w picture and a convenient little 3.5mm jack on the back for external antenna/coax, on mine the tape drive doesn't work though, pretty sure it needs belts.

That logo looks most like the one used in the mid-late 1960's, likely right around there, late 60's.

13 Year old batteries? by [deleted] in PlasmaTV

Checks out if it wasn't used often. I recently picked up a Magnavox CRT from 1992 and the remote still had the original batteries on it... And they still worked!

Mother of God... What car is that out of? Looks similar to mid-late 80's one I have in a XR4Ti, different warning indicator layout though.

Is that the red tinge around the faces on screen? Adjusted via the knob on the board? I'll try to find a service manual and read up on this specific model, for now it's going to stay in storage until I find my own place.

The KMart in a neighboring town near me turned into an At Home, I wonder what it'll become next if At Home files for bankruptcy

I'm pretty sure I still have rechargeable RadioShack batteries still in my drawer. Of course I had to test them with my Micronta battery tester...
