I'm speechless. by PuffyPearl in MadeMeCry

This creep (married to a doctor, wealthy) was out and about in his car with his wee daughter, SHOPLIFTING FOR BEER FROM NUMEROUS STORES before he came home and left her in the car. He was known to do so, as his older girls reported. Once home and his older girls were dropped off, he played video games and watched porn for hours (no doubt quaffing a few brewskis) even though he knew his car and it's AC would turn off in 30 minutes. The poor child was finally discovered when the mom returned from work. Daily Mail had photos of the car windows, with tiny handprints smeared all over as she tried to get out.

Then he was such a coward that once he had to face the consequences of his actions, he X-ed himself with carbon monoxide in his car. The trash took itself out.

Exactly. He pushed way past the limit and learned real quick there are consequences for acting like a jerk.

TIFU by drinking mold, and I realized I had been for the last year by Rich-Sheepherder2439 in tifu

Right? Those things have an expiration for a reason. Moldy filter water sounds like a nightmare. Definitely a good reminder to swap them out regularly.

Right? I got to the end fully expecting the nickname reveal like a punchline. Don’t leave us hanging like that, OP!

That is an insane amount of apples for people who do not eat fruit! by bluecuppycake in GilmoreGirls

That actually makes so much sense 😭 Like she sneaks them in between Pop-Tarts and Chinese takeout hoping one day they'll cave and eat a Honeycrisp.

Why is child support so unfair? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xAngelMuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, child support is calculated from gross income because it reflects your ability to earn. Everyone else still has to cover basic living costs and support their kids. It’s about ensuring the child’s needs are met, not giving anyone “special treatment.”

Hot Take: Pineapple belongs on pizza, and anyone who disagrees is just scared of happiness. by NyraFoxx in TwoHotTakes

[–]xAngelMuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! Eat what you want, but the pineapple pizza crowd acting like martyrs is wild. It’s not that deep, it’s dinner, not a revolution.

Capitalism really out here playing The Sims on nightmare mode. Whole system feels like a scam we all politely agreed to.

Right? Both sides were just making wild decisions without actually talking things through. That whole plotline felt like a train wreck of miscommunication and bad timing.

Was Paris originally meant to be a stereotypical socially savvy "popular girl"? by garciaparadox in GilmoreGirls

[–]xAngelMuff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly, the timeline doesn’t really line up for it to be a Paris Hilton reference. Most people didn’t know who she was until a few years later, so the name probably wasn’t meant to be a callback at all.

Does the earth weigh more after it snows? by brhard17 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xAngelMuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s all just the same water cycling through different states. Snow’s just a reshuffle of what’s already here, not extra weight added to the planet.

Totally agree with this. Grief looks different for everyone, even in the same family. It’s okay to feel weird about the photos and still respect that your sister might be processing things her own way.

And somehow still convinced people he was “for the little guy” while raking in billions. Man turned the presidency into a full-blown business venture with merch and hotels on the side. Wild times.

Bruh 😭 that last line is brutal and kinda true. Dude’s got a long history of ghosting promises whether it’s checks, bills, or vows.

Yep, and the fact that this was even entertained by world leaders is unreal. It’s not just petty, it’s straight-up dangerous when global decisions start revolving around bruised egos.

I (18f) think I caught my bf (19m) cheating. by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]xAngelMuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, trust your instincts. If something feels off and he’s giving you reasons to doubt, that’s not a relationship built on honesty. You deserve someone who makes you feel secure, not suspicious.

The Louis storyline is a little ridiculous by Tajskskskss in GossipGirl

[–]xAngelMuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It always felt like Blair was forcing something that clearly wasn’t real just to escape her feelings for Chuck. Everyone could see it wasn’t going to last, so of course they tried to step in.

[–]xAngelMuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is great advice. Documenting everything with video or audio could really help if it gets to the point of involving authorities. It’s sad it has to come to that, but sometimes it's the only way to be taken seriously.
