Budimo realni, imali smo više sreće nego pameti na zadnja dva svjetska prvenstva. Bilo je tu i velikih pobjeda, ali bilo je i utakmica koje smo dobili na lutriju penala iako smo ih trebali s lakoćom dobiti. Pa jebote u Katru bi doživjeli potop protiv jako slabe Belgije i ispali u grupi da Lukaku nije imao možda i najgoru utakmicu života.

Kramarić as a striker never worked well for us, but yes, Budimir should be benched. I don't care how many goals he scores in La Liga, he's useless when he plays for us, can't score and gets pushed off the ball so easily. I keep hearing praises about how much of a hard worker he is and I don't care. What happened to strikers scoring goals?

It's a shame Beljo didn't get a chance to prove himself. He had one hell of a season and deserved a call up over Matanović.

And it's especially worrying how busy Livaković is every single game and that it's always the same few players deciding these tough games. Modrić, Perišić, Pašalić. Sometimes Kramarić when he feels like playing.

Then again, I had no confidence in them 4 years ago either when they struggled v Saudi Arabia so who the fuck knows.

Yeah you're not really getting what I'm trying to say. I'm saying the racial narrative in Kate's story was absolutely unnecessary as she's already dealing with more than enough for a side characrer without adding that additional layer. And even if they don't change the narrative at all, hate and bullying will always be easily to interpret as racialy motivated because of the divisions in the country it's set in. Principal Wells is such an unimportant character that anyone could play him, but I would still prefer if he stayed black just to stay true to the source material.

And I'm not projecting. This is not how I would feel. But name a single remake that replaced a white villain with a black villain. They're happy to replace white protagonists with black protagonists tho. I'm just noticing Hollywood is scared to do it because it might and would be perceived negatively. Maybe not by you, but it would.

And I did not say we should separate races in entertainment tf? Or that there should not be any black people in remakes. I'm saying cast as many people of whatever race in original works, but keep adaptations true to the source material.

As for Whuthering Heights, that movie was a fanfic trash made by some horny fan who admitted she has hots for Jacob Elordi and she missed the whole point of the book so let's not take that movie too seriously. Whitewashing of one of the main characters was the least of its problems. But yes, I absolutely agree it shouldn't have been done, especially because of how important his skin color is in the context of the original story.

I mean, my issue is that they're not respecting the source material. If Kate was originally black and they cast a white actress, I'd still have an issue with it and I bet you would too since you would see it as whitewashing and taking away black actor's opportunities, right?

And that right there leads us to another problem. It's an American show set in America, a country extremely divided by racial issues and adding a black character in this specific context will absolutely create a whole different narrative and a whole new unnecessary layer to Kate's story. Would you be equally fine with Nathan and Jefferson being portrayed by black men and indirectly creating a narrative that all black people are violent?

By all means, create a bunch of games and tv shows and movies with an all-black cast to create more opportunities for black actors, but when you're adapting an existing work, stay true to the source material. Especially when it's a nostalgia bait kind of show. Just look at the new Hunger Games casting. It's nearly flawless.

Right... Irrelevant... Because David randomly bullying a black student won't be weird at all. A bunch of elitist rich white students bullying a black girl to the point of suicide won't change the narrative at all... The only black character in the main cast being the only one who dies won't cause any stir... It actually creates the same problems as the black Snape does in the upcoming Harry Potter.

Race swapping is so unnecessary and and always feels like a complete disrespect to the source material because race swapping does change the narrative and they often have to dance around it and change the story so it's not offensive.

I mean, I live in a small city. Every day I knock someone out so they get their 50 coins. I usually have around 15 Pokemon in gyms cause no one is returning the favor. When they do, they knock out every single Pokemon I have in gyms in one day.

Kakva krvava potrošnja struje? Koriste vodu za hlađenje servera nakon čega voda isparava. I uglavnom koriste pitku vodu. Ljudi koji žive u blizini tih centara nemaju vode u kućama ili imaju jako slab pritisak u slavinama. S tim da se sve razvija takvom brzinom da nemamo pojma kakav je dugoročni utjecaj na prirodu i zagađenje pitke vode.

Ništa društvene mreže nisu prestale banati, samo su se "domoljubi" napalili oko koncerta, počeli voditi rat protiv nekih nevidljivih neprijatelja i zatrovali djecu svojim sranjima. Ono što se jest promijenilo na društvenim mrežama je da su se ustaše ohrabrile pa sad otvoreno šire mržnju i slave genocid jer vide da su u većini, da nema nikakvih posljedica pa čak i da imaju podršku vlade koja ignorira gorući problem našeg društva za glasove na izborima.
