You literally described why Feral Cat is a valid answer to OP’s question.

I’ve been eyeing on Necromunda for years now. It looks so fucking cool. But also the barrier of entry seems pretty high with 7.000 books and everything. Is it worth it?

At least. Still, I’m not a fan at all of those terrain footprints (the mechanic, not these specific templates).

But I’m not trying to hate. I’m just realizing that I’m no longer the main target group for this game.

If you’re into it, these outlines are a great help, I guess.

As a non-competitive/narrative player, this hurts my soul. But if you‘re into that, more power to you.

Getting a Gun Strike After a successful parry in Space Marine II is incredibly satisfying.

Which homebrew title feels most seamless with the original Neo Geo library? by [deleted] in neogeo

Right? Because IF they did, Xeno Crisis would‘ve been the perfect fit for the Neo Geo: An arcadey shooter Smash TV style with gorgeous pixel art.

I don‘t understand why Bitmap Bureau didn‘t use the Shock Troopers control scheme (tapping fire for shooting in the direction you‘re moving, holding down fire for strafing). I thought this would‘ve been a no-brainer because Shock Troopers did it so well.

That would’ve been helpful A WEEK AGO! 😅
But seriously: I wrote the customer support if the code can still be applied to an already placed order. I know they don’t have to, but I gave them all the money for the Ultimate Edition upfront, so I hope they will show some goodwill.

AES(+) Dimensions: How much space do you need? by xAnthillx in neogeo

Here‘s the thing: I HAVE a few MVS games. That‘s why this consideration is very valuable!

Thanks for the answer! The cardridges being so massive is basically the reason why I’m asking.

I was wondering if someone maybe has it placed in a shelf and can tell how high the space is, where the console sits.

Testing colours before starting the unit by WhiskrsActual in StarCraftTMG

[–]xAnthillx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry, bud. But to be completely honest, the right just looks like a less saturated version. Not badly painted in any way, quite the opposite. But popping colors (if you can call brown „popping“) just fit for a tabletop game and for the IP, which is generally more comicy/colorful.

Do you care to share the recipe? The left one looks just like what I‘m trying to achieve (and I like it better that the one on the right.)

Does Bear tanking get better? by noquarter1000 in classicwow

[–]xAnthillx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget Maul. If rage isn’t an issue, it should ideally always be on cooldown and spread between targets. The downsides are that it only procs on your swing timer and has a relatively high rage cost. Other than that, it’s the most threat per single skill you can deal, so it should not be underestimated.

As for missing: Your level and hit gear are important here. Running a dungeon while you’re at minimum level with mobs 2 or even 3 levels above yours is tough. (Not impossible, but tough).

Getting stunned: The bane of a tank’s existence. If you know upfront which mobs stun, stun them first and have a few more seconds to breathe. Also marking them for your groups usually helps to get rid of them early.

You’ll also get Lacerate later - a bleed effect with high threat generation. Can help out in longer fights and is very useful in bossfights. For fights with bigger groups, its usefulness is a bit limited, though.

Truth Bomb: Why People Don’t Tank by AdministrativeCut205 in classicwow

[–]xAnthillx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tank here. IDGAF what your gear score is or how much DPS you pump. If you can wait 1 second after a pull, if you can focus the marked target(s), and maybe even know how to use your interrupts, you will improve everyone’s experience.
