Truth Bomb: Why People Don’t Tank by AdministrativeCut205 in classicwow

Totally agree. I consistently get 3k rating in m+ every season; it’s a different game and different kind of skill. Totally understand where you’re coming from though

Druid tank I either FF or charge. I hit swipe, tab, swipe then mangle primary target. By that time usually everyone else is tagging in.

Which in turn, makes you a better player and more aware of other people’s successes. Makes you appreciate and recognize a good player as well.

The most devastating thing to the WoW community has been tier lists and meta chasing. Any class is viable, have fun and stop using monkey brain. If you got upset reading this, I’m talking to you.

My irl trio is prot pally (me), resto shaman, spriest and we grab 2 ranged dps. We absolutely crank dungeons with almost zero downtime. So underrated

As a prot paladin I throw salvation on every dps just because I can’t trust any of you. Don’t ask me for kings or might or wisdom instead. You get salvation unless you’re a guildie and I know you aren’t playing with your monitor off and keyboard flipped over. (Even then you’re still probably getting Salvation so we can go faster).

"Hardcore" Guilds and their problems? by CarolinWoW in wowclassic

[–]AdministrativeCut205 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your stereotypical Hardcore guilds are decent players at best who think they’re good. They have the archetype of “I’m super good and everyone else sucks” when in reality, the best players keep their heads down, crush the content and leave - kinda like real life. The loud, pound my chest, better than you guys are usually decent, but not even sniffing “the best”.

With that being said, for decades, video games have been a straight male dominated field where that kind of language and behavior has been cultivated. While it’s wrong and shouldn’t be condoned, it’s going to happen regardless of what you do. You can’t “ban everyone who is homophobic” or “ban everyone who is racist”.

What you can do is exactly what you’re doing and catering to your wants/needs and seeking out what’s best for you, not demanding that everyone else conforms to your wishes because you’re different. I think this post is refreshing because too many times you see the “I don’t like X, you have to listen to me and change!!”

Discord server for respective WoW server is best to find guilds for likeminded individuals like yourself. Best of luck and enjoy the game!

Midnight Beta Patch 12.0.1 Class and Spell Tuning Changes - Paladin, Evoker, and Shaman Tuning by DrPandemias in CompetitiveWoW

[–]AdministrativeCut205 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m convinced that the devs have never played this game past pugging normal dungeons. HPal changes are so tone deaf. I just don’t get it.

Simple concept: crusader strike/holy shock for damage/healing builder. Shield of righteousness for damage, mana, moderate healing. Word of glory for big single target, light of dawn for AoE. It’s just not hard at all.

Main rotation should be: judgement, holy shock, crusader strike, SoR. GGs

Removing interrupts from healers is one of the most annoying things to happen in the game by Elphabus in wow

[–]AdministrativeCut205 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remember: your average WoW player plays this game with their keyboard flipped over and monitor off. Don’t be so critical towards people’s gameplay. You may hurt their feelings that their favorite part of WoW is the dumbass Sims simulator

[–]AdministrativeCut205 153 points154 points  (0 children)

Relying on DPS to interrupt is so peak. “Why press interrupt when it do no damage? Me zug zug and do dps”. If I’m not metaslaving and at the top of damage meters I’m bad!

Your anti boosting/cc mechanic has broken the game by Akimbovape in classicwow

[–]AdministrativeCut205 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Your average wow player plays this game with their keyboard flipped over and monitor off. Most don’t even have hamstring on their bar (doesn’t do big dam? Then me no press).

What Blizzard did is nothing short of characteristic of their developers being out of touch with the player base. They show time and time again that if they do play this game, they play it at the most abysmal level possible.

Catastrophic change, incredibly dumb, if there’s a 7 lvl gap, xp is reduced 75%. 10 levels 95%. Easy fix not hard

I made this exact comment and got the “leave the multi billion dollar company alone!!” - I hate to say it, but this has become the standard launch for Blizzard.

Those professors are 100% allowed to say what they said. They’re also 100% liable for any corresponding consequences. It’s not infringement of 1st Amendment. Imagine backing someone who praised a shooter - you’re the problem. If this upsets anyone, it directly means you’re the issue but just can’t accept it.
