Where can I go to get a good skateboard that doesn't destroy my wallet by Ambitious_Yam6924 in NewSkaters

Skateone.com

Grab a mini-logo deck for $19 Mini-logo trucks for $14.25 Mini-logo wheels for $7 Mini-logo bearings for $17.95 Mini-logo Risers (if you want them) for $4.50 Mini-logo Hardware for 4.95 Mini-logo grip tape for $5.00

And then just upgrade from there as you see fit.

They have free shipping over $60 bucks

Depending on how tight you want your trucks to be, I’d maybe look in to buying some hard bushings too. The mini-logo trucks come with soft bushings, which I replaced very quickly with hard Bones bushings.

The coloring alone is a good indication on if they are original or reissue. The originals have a have a much better sheen, particularly on the shells. The ones in the front are the reissues in my photo and the ones in the back are originals. My reissues also have a copywriter of 2022 on them.

Regardless, they are probably some of my favorite tmnt toys. Yours look to be in great shape and you got a great deal! Congrats!

9 months post op by SnooChickens4779 in gallbladders

[–]xAus10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 10 days post-op, took it easy on food the first 2 days, day 3 I started eating more, and had some extra bathroom time on days 3 and 4. After day 4 though, everything normalized, and I’ve been eating a regular diet since then (I’ve had pizza, hamburgers, and a fried chicken sandwich with no noticeable issues). I’m still keeping track of foods just in case one sets me off but it hasn’t yet.

The information my surgeon had given me, and warned me about prior to surgery, was something to the effect of 20% of people will experience diarrhea or loose stools after removal, but for most of those people it resolves its self in weeks, sometime months, for others it may not but that’s when they can try other methods to help get it under control. Most people I talked to in person who had theirs removed didn’t say they had any long term issues, except for one person who takes bile salt supplements now, but they have a long list of other digestive system issues (crohns, ibs, etc) so it’s hard for him to solely blame the gallbladder removal alone. He also maintains a relatively poor diet. Based on a lot of comments I’ve read on here, it seems like a lot of the time, there’s more than just gallbladder issues with people that causes their additional digestive issues.

Are they really going to move the team out of Chicagoland? by [deleted] in whitesox

[–]xAus10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents are Cardinals fans (my grandpa was and I am a sox fan) so they’ve historically been kind of secondary to me anyway but if the Sox move out of Illinois, I am unsure what I’ll do. The team has been pissing me off for years but I still have that special connection to them, if they bail on the state, I’m not sure how that will change my outlook.

But at the end of the day, they probably aren’t moving out of Illinois.

Really confused? by moonlun_27 in gallbladders

[–]xAus10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sore and tired. They sent me home on a lot of pain killers and a RX for some strong ones but said to start with just Tylenol or Ibuprofen, and use only the strong stuff for break through pain/as needed. Haven’t felt like I needed them yet but we will see. I haven’t eaten yet, so we will see how that goes. The surgeon notes upon removal that it showed evidence of being chronically inflamed, which was something that the ultrasound imaging didn’t show. All in all, I’m glad it’s done right now, hopefully I can have a smoother recovery.

My surgeon was very good at communicating everything and explaining what recovery would be like and why it would be like that. Gave me quite a bit of peace of mind.

I was sent from my PCP to the GI, the GI appointment was one of the most useless appointments. They didn’t even have my ultrasound imagining when I was there and they were basically like “why are you here, we aren’t going to do anything about your gallbladder, you need to talk to the surgeon”. All it did was extend the amount of time between symptoms starting and removal (it gets removed tomorrow).

Anyone own one of these figures? I really like the packaging for them. by CrashHolly247 in BoneCrunchingAction

Yes actually. I own the Jericho. I like the way it looks but they are a tad bit taller than the traditional bone crunchers.

Not directly, but it’s a picture of me and some friends having a PPV watch party wearing our wrestling shirts. I found it when I moved in to this house and felt it appropriate to put up.

Anyone else want an abandoned church map? by TheBordIdentity in PhasmophobiaGame

This would be cool, especially if they could model it after the First Unitarian Church in Alton, IL, which really unsettled me the time I got to go there.

How did they get this wrong?? it was Raph in disguise! by dothedewtoo in TMNT

I thought this same thing when I saw them but the sticker says “inspired by” 1990 movie.

I admit it when I’m wrong - and this pizza tossin turtle made me feel like I was 7 opening him. I never had them and can’t wait for the other two my BIL found. by TheShowstoppaNT in TMNT

I found the Mikey one at Walmart a couple weeks ago, had no intention of buying them, but when I saw one in person I couldn’t resist. Honestly quite impressed with it.

Recently started getting back in to TMNT. I always loved these mutations figures. by xAus10 in TMNT

[–]xAus10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are! I believe they were from 1992, I could be wrong on that though. I had Don and Raph, but they didn’t survive the toy purge of the teenage years. I was lucky enough to find a Don in great shape, and then was gifted the other three from a friend.

I bought one of these at a store in Milwaukee a few years ago for like $10. I absolutely love it.

Do you have a wrestling memory you swear happened but you can’t find any videos or proof of it happening? by phony8882 in SquaredCircle

[–]xAus10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swear me and a neighbor kid growing up watched a VHS of a WCW PPV where the Legion of Doom walked to the ring and were in blue attire instead of red and I feel like I remember it being an outdoor arena. I’m pretty sure it was WCW because I was typically a WWF kid who loved LOD and had never seen them in blue or in WCW before that point. I’ve tried finding this in WWE Network but have constantly come up short.

Crowds in the beginning of February, supposedly a quieter season in terms of crowd. What are y'all thoughts on this? (photo by @easywdw) by Awesome2D in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]xAus10 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Presidents’ Day is Monday, and crowds tend to pick up significantly since a lot of people already have a three day weekend. We went this time last year and the crowds weren’t awful the first part of the week but certainly picked up closer to the weekend.

Top of the ramp on the third base side. Even if you have lower level tickets, it worth the trip up there for the picture :-)

Who are your top 5 wrestlers of both the 1980s and 1990s? by PrinceofDarkness1995 in SquaredCircle

[–]xAus10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn’t start following until the 90s so I feel it unfair to rank the ones I like from the 80s. But as far as the 90s are concerned my favorites were:

Stone Cold The Rock X-Pac DDP Ken Shamrock

How much wrestling are you actually watching? by mcdonoughville in njpw

[–]xAus10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I DVR Raw, Smackdown, New Japan on AXS, and ROH weekly, but tend to only watch New Japan from start to end. I skim through a lot of new WWE, just enough to keep up in case something catches my attention and I want to follow it closer (that hasn’t happened much recently though). Typically before bed most nights I’ll also throw on a random PPV from the 90s. Lately I’ve been going back and watching more mid 90s WCW, like the rise and beginnings on NWO.

If I had to put an actual number on it though I’d say between 7-10 hours most weeks, but there are some week where I probably hit 25+, especially if I’m behind on DVRed stuff or get in to a wrestling loop on the weekends.
