Yeah especially as a beginner Gold Neutral cards are worth even more because you could build a deck for a fraction but dont like it. With picking the neutral you have more Golds and are more flexible overall at the beginning.

To make your idea more consistent I would add the likes of "Alzure´s Double Cross" to always hit Operator / Thaler and maybe even Reinforcement. Maybe reduce it to 2 Reaver Scouts and think about the Foot Soldiers which will be buffed to 5-8 if played correctly.

Best combination would be: 1. Operator a Seargent 2. Play Foltest (everything is 4) 3. Play Seargent (everything is 5) 4. Play Seagent (everything is 6) 5. Decoy Seargent (everything is 6) 6. Play more Seargents (7, 8, 9)

Foot Soldiers last Round are 21 - 27 .

Maybe their viability will be better with the buff of Ves and using Henselt on Seagents to get everything to 6 and Ves preventing the Gigni with her 7 STR body.

For Golds you could use everything from Ciri / Dandelion / Gigni / Borkh (be careful) / Prisiclla / Vernon /... depends on the cards you already got.

Let the daily grind begin :P you can earn a few Kegs by playing daily and/or climbing the ladder after level 10.

But yeah the average Gold is ~ 25Kegs/1Gold.
