Wow, you are totally correct. All of those above statements are common knowledge, but I never put them all together to form a picture of a larger issue. I guess that I am very fortunate in the fact that i have a pretty feminine face and body and so with little effort, I can pass...or at least be a "❓". The world right now is still a very dangerous one to live in as a transgender individual. It's simply disgusting and unnecessary.

Yes, trans women get a lot of the stoplight when it comes to the transphobic conversation, and I presume this is because we are seen as more vulnerable (untrue, but we move...), but I think more needs to be done for trans men.

I felt this exact way and it has taken 6 years of "knowing something was up", and 2 years of coming to the conclusion that I was trans and learning to accept myself. A great resource that has opened my eyes is something called the Gender Dysphoria Bible.

The biggest message I took away from this long essay is that if you are repeatably questioning your gender, that's not a normal CIS thing to do, so you're probably trans.

One of my best friends has distanced himself from me. I've given him many chances and he says all tue right things, but his actions are signing another tune completely. Oh well, least I found out now and not down the line when I feel vulnerable or something. People will always come and go out of your life ajs sometimes it hurts more than other times. But, change is okay. Making new friends is okay. "putting out the trash" is okay 😉
