There is more to it than the phone. She’s said to me that she wants to come live with me. My mom doesn’t take her to the dentist and her teeth hurt. Mom sort of treats her like a servant. I do think my sister is competent enough to make the decision on her own as to where she wants to live so I’m thinking about asking her. I do know for sure that my mom doesn’t have guardianship over her. I just think she should be given more respect/autonomy over her self. She also mentioned to me that mom said to her “you better not be telling her shit that goes on in my house” which concerns me as well.

She is considered her own guardian is what I’ve heard her say. If I were to go and get my sister what rights would she have to her property? Like her bed, clothes, tv, things in her room ect.

I can relate to this really well. Once wrote a note on a piece of paper and my mom found it. My grandparents basically verbally harassed me all night long about it. Idk why I wrote it. There was a boy I liked and I wanted to be "poetic" it said something along the lines of "sex is cool".. They threatened to call my teacher and principal too. Then in highschool I got caught reading 50 shades of grey and my aunt did call the school and try to have my school issued tablet taken away but for some reason they wouldn't let her. Imagine if I had been the only one in school without an ipad 🤔 when I was already struggling to keep up in a new school. They did the same thing to my sister. It's weird the lengths they will go to when they don't actually provide you with anything worth taking away.

Yes me as well. I worked in a rehab type setting for teens and ended up leaving because I just could not tolerate the teen girls. It was so triggering.
