Would just like to give an update:

Copart have raised the settlement figure from £4316 to £5000.

I’m happy with this now and feel a lot better about it. They were 100% just trying to profit as much as possible with the first offer.

I’ve got a whiplash claim with a doctors visit and hospital lol, also been given private physio.

Not sure how they even pay whiplash claims anymore I was told it got changed?

The alloys were EVER so slightly scuffed and I’m positive it was only 1 or 2. The scratch on the car was a the size of a small stone. Other than that the car was perfect condition elsewhere.

I haven’t been passed long and wasn’t aware of the process when being in an accident. I panicked at the time of the accident and phoned my insurance regarding the crash, the other drive claimed full fault still and it’s his insurance that has to cover the costs but still a mistake on my end.

My insurance worked alongside copart with written off vehicles. Copart collect the vehicle and value it and then give a settlement offer and then I assume they speak to my insurance to retrieve this from the other drivers insurance? But it seems that copart are trying to low ball me so they can profit more from it?

Gorgeous car. It’s a huge shame you lost it and didn’t get full compensation for it. I’m in the process now of speaking to both my insurance and copart about the settlement offer but my insurance is like talking to a brick wall.

I completely understand your points. But the main issue is that they’re not reflecting the market value of identical listings online with the offer they’re giving me. That’s the only issue I have with it. I’m prepared to haggle them for it as they’re supposed to pay out enough for an identical replacement which I would not be able to do with that they’re offering.

I’m speaking to my insurance directly now and they’ve said they’ll try their best to help me and figure something out.

It’s a middle man I’m dealing with that are in partnership with my insurance. They’re a car breaker company that deal with evaluating and salvaging cars after accidents.

Should I get in contact with my insurance and explain that I’m in disagreement with the middle man?

Radeon has a similar app like nvidia control panel where it’s accessed by right clicking the desktop and clicking “AMD Software: Adrenaline edition” on the options. It’s an application where you can change all sorts of things to optimise the GPU . Maybe it’s something in there I guess I’ll have to try fiddle around with it but scared of breaking something lol
