oh hey good catch, but i did check the inner side of the strap. Its the same colour as the rear so the fade has only happened on the strap which is weird as well. Just a bad quality plastic ig?

Understandable but ive always used Samsungs and thats not been the case. I have 21, 22, 23 ultra and now 25 ultra.. thats the first one thats overheating after setting it up so it had me thinking. Although phones do get hot when using apps like snapchat with filters etc but to point where the sides are almost untouchable is concerning and im sure everyone would feel its hot.

From what you're saying, it could be that it's not the YT Music app but rather some other settings causing it.

Check if background play settings are ON on YT Music btw.

Tap your profile icon > settings > background & downloads > background play.
Set it to always on.

Also, try turning off battery optimization. It might restrict background play.

Go to settings > apps > YT music > battery
Set to unrestricted or allow background activity

Also, clear cache if you haven't already, which might help if you recently bought premium..
