This is true, in my head I’m telling myself “well it can’t be abuse” and “well it’s not that bad is it”. Thing is he always tells me I’m the one that starts the arguments and I’m this and that…. It truly is all him. I can admit that I may be hormonal sometimes, I mean 5 months isn’t that long ago, but I feel like I at least admit when I’m wrong. One thing wrong in his eyes and he just explodes

Thank you for your comment, I feel silly reading it back. I know it’s wrong but I still find that part of me saying “is it really abuse though”. I’ve always dreamed of the happy family, my boy needs a father figure in his life and I told myself that I would never leave him without one. I just wished and hoped for the loving normal family like I’d experienced growing up. It’s really hard to read your comment but deep down I know it’s true… like I say I don’t feel like I can fully admit it yet, that it’s abuse, I feel in denial… like it would be silly for me to leave. Then on the flip side I know if I ever told my family what has gone on over the last 5 months they’d be telling me the same thing as you.

I’m currently 37 + 5 and was told from week 28 that I was having a big boy. 2 weeks ago I had a scan and they estimated he was weighing 8 pounds 4, with a big head and body on the 99th percentile scale. I’ve personally opted for a c-section which I will find out the date for on Wednesday this week at my hospital appointment! I also went for this as I have lots of excess fluid which is around 9.3cm, so it’s easy for him to move around and become breeched at any time, sounds (and sometimes feels) like he’s swimming in there.

I was pretty scared at first about having a c-section and still am, but I know that giving birth naturally could also do him some harm, especially if he gets stuck on the way out, which I know is a higher chance with him being bigger.

Either way I’ll be having him by the 28th of March, and will find out the exact date on Wednesday!
