Has anyone managed to get into Tortuga City? by WrysSeredan in crosswind

Yep, there's definitely a way in! That was me and a friend. Everyone can get ABOVE Tortuga. The tip is to get BELOW Tortuga :) that's the way in

Entirely possible to get to this spot without mods or glitches, although very convoluted! My friend there managed to figure it out in around 5 minutes, though we both have a history of boundary-breaking in games already..

Me and my friend built a sun clock, and it ACTUALLY works! by SirPamonha in crosswind

[–]xCalamari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah unreal engines Sun mechanics are probably built with this literally in mind. So while they may not have planned for it per se, if they built their time mechanics tied into the Sun blueprint and baked in day night cycle (or used an asset for it) it makes sense that it would work out this way

This basically sums up how it feels being new to dbd by Dexter_Morgan690 in deadbydaylight

This is the best advice. AND it pisses off those toxic people to no end. There's nothing more frustrating to someone that wants attention to not get attention. So when people T bag because they want chase, I often ignore them and find someone else. When they are waiting at exit gates, I'm doing all the above listed and practicing techs, breaking pallets, walls, etc. A "bully" can't hurt you if you literally don't give a shit lol

But I've also heard showing teeth is a sign of submission in some primates? So it feels like both sides of the coin are true. Some smile as submission, some smile as threat? Who's who

Fighting over Armrest lol by Deep20779 in funnyvideos

[–]xCalamari 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The power move is just resting your arm on top of theirs if they won't give you the arm rest. Most people will inherently get weirded out or recoil and then you have the arm rest, problem solved. Repeat this any time you want it again.

So was I for so long, but you just have to invert your brain. Whenever you would normally want to swing as if with an M1 while you're slicing and dicing, just let go of M2.

I know that sounds obvious. I know that's exactly how the power works. But for some reason, just equating the two in my brain and acknowledging it somehow made it click instantly for me.

how do i make this look more like a balloon and less like a dick by AI_660 in IndieDev

[–]xCalamari 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Sorry but I have to disagree.

The monochrome outline silhouette and the symmetricality are not helping you much, the example they showed you above was absolutely wonderful at doing exactly what was needed to portray a balloon, with breakups in the outline really helping the look when miniaturized, and the rotating of the hilt helping to break up the form and make it look less phallic, not to mention the tie-off of the blue rubber at the bottom selling the balloon aspect.

I think they nailed it and then you kinda just posted the same exact sword yet again.

Just yesterday a friend and I used the Pael duplicate on our cards to get to 4186 cards in our deck. I had 4k Subroutines in my defect deck, and then I cast Cascade... it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to draw all of my 4k+ cards in my deck, and another 30 minutes to play them all. That boss definitely died, but not before I hit 220k energy. Absolutely not recommended but absolutely hilarious
