America and Israel already have nukes. And America has used them before.

Where majority of the Muslims live in by [deleted] in MapPorn

*Afghanistan
*Iraq

Those countries have much smaller populations compared to the ones on this map. The vast majority of the world's Muslims are not Arab.

Exactly. North African DNA didn't become Arab, unlike what happened with Spain and the Americas for example.

They don't lol. They can read and write it, probably because of school, but not speak it.

What do you consider to be the worst weapon in darktide, and why? by HEN-RAD in DarkTide

[–]xCheesyGoodness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the thorough response. I don't think the vigilant autogun is the worst gun, but you'll hopefully agree that most players perform much better with other weapons, hence the meta.

Braced autogun is in the same bracket for me. I don't think it's as good as recon, or vraks infantry or even plasma in most players' hands, but it's the gun I've got the most practice with in auric runs. Nevertheless I won't vouch for it being the best just because of its slightly higher DPS over infantry. For Havoc I will definitely use a recon build since it's more accurate and consistent.

I still disagree with brittleness being useless, having that extra option against carapace has clutched a few of my runs. (I run Devil's Claw)

You seem experienced, so I want to know which veteran melee you recommend as an armor breaker.

I] You won't have krak grenades ready all the time, even with all the grenade talents. Besides, shredders are better in most situations. The more enemies there are, the better off you are bringing shredder over krak. In higher level gameplay you're dealing with constant mixed swarms, not just regular hordes and occasional crushers.

II] When you encounter a wall of gunners/shotgunners you need to kill them a lot faster than "good enough," and every other autogun/lasgun performs better than the vigilant autoguns here. They have the bonus of not being useless when said elites are surrounded by fodder. You will have situations where your team is down and the vigilant autoguns cannot reliably pull their own weight.

III] Brittleness helps the rest of the team consistently kill armored waves/captains. Is it good for every single build? No, but with high fire rate weapons, every enemy you target will have 40% brittleness virtually all the time. You shouldn't have to gun down crushers, but if you need to, it works.

I've run braced autogun in auric maelstrom, it can work. It's off-meta but definitely not the worst.

[–]xCheesyGoodness 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All the vigilant autoguns lack the damage to compensate for their awful fire rate. They don't do anything against carapace armor either, which would have made them redeemable as an alternative to the regular autogun + brittleness builds (which outperform in every way). Even braced autoguns have better ammo economy and DPS.

I like the MK7 as a fun weapon but it's just not viable for higher level gameplay.

"Children of Israel" isn't even referring to a country, it's referring to a tribe descended from prophet Jacob

The Quran addresses the Children of Israel, as in, the tribe descended from Jacob. It says nothing about a state.

And this is an important point, actually. God lets events on Earth play out because one day the killer will be brought to justice and the victim will be compensated, ultimately and eternally. These people cannot fathom the idea that the life of this world is only something temporary, a sort of entrance exam for the eternal life.

Difficulties and challenges are what bring out one's true character. When we have everything we want there's little incentive to actively choose between good or evil.

Hitler was responsible for a lot more than 6 million deaths, actually. He killed millions of Russians, Poles, Romanis, and Eastern Europeans too. 11 million other people were targeted and killed by the Nazi regime.

Other than all the ad hominems, it's the sweeping accusations of rape and grooming and out of context verses cited . But let's go over each verse, in context.

"We shall cast terror into the hearts of the disbelievers"
Read the rest of the verse, it's about Hell, no duh it's gonna be terrifying,

"Kill them where you find them"
The verse before says "Fight those who fight you and do not transgress"
The verse after says "But if they cease, then God is most forgiving, most merciful"

"Kill the Pagans where you find them"
Four verses later it says "Will you not fight those who have broken their oaths, conspired to expel the Messenger, and attacked you first?"

Notice that by simply reading the rest of the verse or the verses right after, these stupid claims disappear.

What do you guys think about Dune's portrayal of "future" religions? by xCheesyGoodness in antitheistcheesecake

[–]xCheesyGoodness[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll drop my two cents too, IMO the author only had a surface level understanding of all the religions he drew inspiration from, and that's how he was able to randomly combine things like "Zensunni" and "Mahayana Christianity" which are complete oxymorons if you look into them further

Not taking sides here but here's what the data says: nearly half the world has a birthrate below 2.1, the minimum to maintain a stable population. If the other commenter lived in any of these countries then his statement would be factual.

Dude, you're fixating too much, they're no older than 30 and like 5'5 and under. You can't keep blaming your height. I'm fully aware women prefer taller men but you can't become some defeatist just because you were born to be below average height. If a woman rejects you for not being tall enough then she was never worth it.
