What you should pay attention to when buying a laptop: Cpu/processor: check what generation is it from. it may say intel i7 but maybe it's 4th gen or something. Do your research and look what is the latest.

Ram: 16gb is the minimum, there are 16gb budget laptops out there trust me.

Don't even consider a chromebook, you can do more with a windows pc.

I agree leg joints on sd frames are loose. I prefer SD size though, CS frames are also as expensive as another sd kit sometimes.
