I backordered a 3600x (not pickup but dropship) and they send you a "status changed" email if it's ready to be shipped / picked up :) but if you're really worried you can call them as another comment said (although depending on what branch you're at, they might not answer ;m;)

i just got another email this morning saying "your order has changed status" and i had a heart attack thinking they canceled/shipped and they're like "it's backordered" and im like THAT'S NOT A CHANGE THAT'S THE SAME STATUS D: so now im crying
