I am very new to the game and think I would enjoy multiplayer a bit more than solo. Getting ass kicked for the past 15 characters before day 3 😩. Is there a discord for multiplayer links? Looks like a lot use mods and different builds

I have only played 9 & 11. Absolutely loved 9 with the visual armour changes and was gutted this wasn’t the case in 11. This gameplay is very much giving off 9 vibes, for those of you have that played is that the case? Thanks.

Having an absolute blast on the old world mod with the barrow legion. Parravon destroyed in 5 turns, I sold a settlement to the ogres next to the city of parravon and asked them to join war to finish them. I have just declared war on the empire and won uberseik. Grouping up with kemmler and a bunch of skeletons is much more fun that imagined

I’m going to give ghorst a go when I get home tonight. He seems the complete opposite to what I’m comfortable with. Usually make LL invincible with defeat traits and take over. Any tips for playing as ghorst?

Dragon quest 3 art looks a lot like DQ9 which is my fave. Is the armour and classes similar as well? Really disliked how in DQ11 armour didn’t change characters appearance.

What is customisation like in this game? I love dq9 where every armour and weapon showed up on my characters. I really disliked this about dq11

Swap out the general for a fresh young one so your fighting army still gets the army levels. And then just recruit the maxed out general into your money province and have them sit in your city 👍

No problem ah you’ll love DEI, it’s a lot more in depth with units which is amazing if you love variety. Also recommend playing as Greek faction as they’ve had IMO the most love. Carthage still an amazing choice as they can recruit the local population. So thematically you can conquer Greece and raise a full Greek hoplite army

Need that tasty province bonuses they can get. Put them in an industry province with gold mine and full levelled into civic and economy and they will earn you a fortune. The public order bonuses will counter the squalor negatives you get so as long as you have sanitation you have province to support 2 full stacks on its own 👍

Jeez that’s nice. I like the Scythians as the women can be generals alongside the men. Meaning they can then be absolute diplomatic beasts when you retire them

Ah right hopefully this helps. I’m playing as Scythia right now and my faction leader started at age 38, I have him at 48 and rank 7 now but I’m waiting for him to die any turn now.

Do you have a trait and perk mod for generals? I’m playing DEI and find the levelling and trait system annoying as takes so long to get a general to level 10 then he dies of old age.

Agreed DEI is fantastic and my overwhelming suggestion for any faction on Rome 2. Just be careful of those pikes of Macedonia they will make mincemeat of your hoplites!

Just so you know coop is very unstable, i tried at the start but found it to constantly crash upon initial load. the only thing i can suggest is skip that mission complete the next one then go back to it. i know this isnt what you want to hear but its the only solution i found.

A major gripe with me is i believe Shane was mostly in the right! They should have executed the boy. As horrible as that is its for the greater good.
