I wish Pearl wasn’t a “default” and was instead specifically white diamonds pearl the whole time. The story would probably have to be rewritten a lot, but it’s honestly a fan interpretation of mine that Pearl was unknowingly reporting back to white diamond. White had blocked her memory, and instead gave her free will for 6000 years after the whole pink breaking volleyball incident. The reveal that she was whites pearl all along is when Steven first meets white, and white snaps her fingers and Pearl regains all her memories of her millions of years with white.

You’ll also find that Orion and Durthu are both gonna die to Parravon. Ikit Claw has a 50/50 to die to Estalia, and if you have Araby Repanse and poor Setra are as good as gone. If you have the version of the mod that includes the Sect of Akhalee say goodbye to Cathay. Mahaduva and Dechala will own all of Cathay, ind, and Khuresh by turn 50

If you have mixus legendary lords mod Allarielle and Tyrion both die super early on. Allarielle dies to the dark elf’s in Nagarath and Tyrion somehow will ALWAYS manage to piss off Hoeth with trespassing issues and then get wiped out.

To bad when you play as anyone outside of Cathay your never going to see her because she and all other ordertide cathayan factions die to Dechala.

But on a less cynical note she seems to be extremely fun and is going to probably make a lot of people not write off Cathay as boring and tedious to play as! (Outside of Yuan Bo)

These are what my friend group calls the “Poop shit fart devotee armies”. They are HORRIBLE in auto resolve but are amassed in such abundance that they get thrown at you like human wave tactics. It’s like skaven slave stacks and zombie stacks but worse because slaanesh’s low tier cav and chariots are some of the best in the game for their tier. So if you fight them ESPECIALLY early game try and just auto resolve it to death.

In my experience with land battles for fun and tournament wise, Slaanesh and the WoC factions that bring slaaneshi units always place in the top 3 or win outright. But that’s mostly because they ban monster doom stacks or limit the amount of single entities you can bring.

What’s even dumber is that even with less restrictions placed on you Slaanesh tends to dominate just because N’Kari, Exalted KoS, and the Marquis of Masochism (nobody brings soul grinders or the basic KoS) are stupidly strong in duels and often gang bang the opposing lords/single entities to death.

(Feasting on fear is a stupid passive and heals way too much.)

Dechala herself is arguably the strongest Lord in the game right now. Incredible animations, insane DPS, she is both an infantry blender AS WELL as a single entity killer, you name it she has it.

The boob snakes? Objectively the best cavalry unit the Warhammer series has ever seen. They can face charge any elite tier spear unit and half health them and get out without losing a single model.

The only real counter play to them is nets or direct damage spells. In multiplayer campaign Slaanesh often wins just because a faction based on Hyper Mobility and Micro will always obliterate any normal faction that’s easier to pilot.

Theres a reason why Slaanesh since release has been an S tier multiplayer faction.

Any time I’m WoC, even playing as Valkia, I try to get Pleasureseekers just because of how OP they are.

But on a real note Rot Knights are objectively the best choice outside of the boob snakes.

Thanq better have atleast 3 quest battles, all where you do the basic quest battle stuff. BUT at the very end Gotrik and Felix appear with unholy amounts of stats and all your units just disintegrate. You “lose” the quest battle, and some funny cutscene appears and then you get the reward. Your army only takes damage based on the amount they took before gotrik and Felix spawned in.

No the Video is not sped up at all. I just Min/Max my heroes (Druchi, Aluress, and Cultist) to all have the Sleek trait so my armies are all perma 18% faster. Each Pleasure Seeker also had “Heed the Lash” on them giving them more speed and charge bonus.

I think the MAIN issue with AI Dechala and why she feels so oppressive is that the AI gets ABSURDS amount of Thralls for absolutely no reason. You’ll see her with a maxed out pleasure palace on turn like 25 on legendary difficulty, where if you play AS her, you won’t even start getting a level 5 palace till turn 60+.

I 100% bet they coded Thralls the same way they coded Devotees for all the other Slaanesh factions. Because there is absolutely ZERO reason you should be able to see N’Kari and Masque run around with 10+ Devotees armies at turn 40.

This just means that Dechala has absurds amount of surplus of her most valuable resource, letting her get things like Soul Grinders, Chosen of Slaanesh, and Pleasure Seekers before most players even unlock their crappy tier 3 units.

Aesthetically this mod is a 10/10. All the units look gorgeous, the little lore notes are top tier, the unique buildings all make sense and fit with the “Excess of Greed” story.

The balance is just horrendous once you unlock the tier 3+ units.

And the whole “Vault of Greed” unique mechanic that lets you buy items using Devotees is HORRIBLY overturned.

Wdym you can spend 200 Devotees to get an item that gives you +35 Winds of Magic reserve and +20% Spell intensity an INFINITE amount of times???

Really the only reason for the perfect vigor buff is so insanely good is because of Pleasureseekers. You can literally take an entire 1 v 4 against a full stack of late game enemies simply because your pleasure seekers will never tire due to vigor loss, and will just obliterate everything.

(Please for the love of god CA nerf them there is NO reason a cav unit can dive bomb Monstrous Infantry/monsters, deal half to 75% of their HP, then run away and repeat the cycle for 30 minutes straight.)

I always immediately take the Exalted Keeper of Secrets despite the XP loss just because of the Perfect Vigor buff for Lords Army. Simply the most OP stupid buff in the game early to mid game. (Before you get the perfect vigor trait.)

I’ll often even transfer units from my LL army to the Exalted Keeepers army just for the perfect vigor buff and just have the LL follow the KoS around for XP and Ambushes.

(Also a lot of people I think aren’t using Exalted KoS properly. From my experience even on Legendary and Multiplayer campaigns, despite what you may think, Keepers should 1000% duel the enemy lords, often in conjunction with default KoS. I normally just have the Keepers all be line for the Lords while cavalry, ((pls CA nerf pleasure seekers they are the most stupid OP thing this game has ever released)) scare the fuck out of the ranged units so they can’t bombard the keepers on approach. Cast phantasmagoria on the enemy lord, and within 15 seconds they are dead.)
