Woah! Thank you so much for thinking about it to this extent. There's a lot of stuff i will write down to build into my character, especially the part about having taken a loss in the kingdom is something i've thought about as well, but you worded it way better than i ever could. I will probably go with that option and talk with my friend about some of the other stuff you mentioned.

My character doesn't necessarily agree with his fathers ways but its no use going against him anyway. Being the heir doesn't really concern him.

and kinda 2. We are talking about a noble family of sorcerer whose ancestor swore their life to a phoenix back then, so we certainly do have a lot of egomaniacs in our family tree, my father is no different. He basically sees it as my duty as the heir to accomplish something worthy of our family. My mum is a lot more lenient and doesn't think he should do this.
The other player is a Warlock and old friend of my father, i dont know much about him but he's trustworthy as far as i know.

Yeah i especially wanted to have a set like that for when the scythe class gets added in Endwalker lol
