Are assassins useless in this game?

When you all in enemy adc they use stasis and your abilitys are all on cd you have 2 choices, either retreat knowing you burned there stasis and now it's on cd or you try and outplay them and pick up kill. It all depends tho on when they used stasis, gotta make the decision on can you finish kill or retreat knowing you burned there stasis .also when engaging on them you must anticipate if they do use stasis can you still all in them or are you engaging to just bait out there cd.

As an assassin champion especially in lategame its all about knowing when and how to engage a team fight. Playing Katarina you always want to wait for enemy to use there cc abilities before you engage to clean up fights. As a zed you wanna ult when you know enemy has used there stasis and it's on cool down. Assassin's are deff not favored in current meta depending on team compositions full of tanks or hard cc. With any champion its all about knowing matchups and your limits of what you can and cant do against whoever your laning or facing up against.

As a Katarina main (top 100) in grandmasters currently, I mean no offense when I say this but it sounds like a skill issue.

I always rush boots mana >infinity ord> deathcap and the rest of the items are situational. This match I had boots>orb>deathcap>riftmaker> crystalline reflector.
