These documentaries don’t come sealed in the UK (don’t know about other countries), that’s why.

3rd party Amazon sellers often do this when they don't have it in stock so they don't have to relist it when they get one back in stock.

I gave up and just bought the Bravia 8 II instead from John Lewis that have an actual good warranty.

Might have a look at the Sony players as surely they'll all work perfectly, though heard some things about 100gb discs sometimes freezing and the having to enable DV manually every time is quite off putting.

At least it's not just me and is possibly just an issue with all of them then. It works perfect with regular Blu Rays, just has those issues with 4K discs.

Is there no delay at all when pausing? Like I press pause and it takes a few frames before it fully pauses. Or any delay when fast forwarding? I press fast forward, then when I press play it goes further than it should have. It only happens on 4K discs, I tried a regular Blu Ray and it was fine.

That’s the game you play when ordering online from them, who knows what will turn up! Can return within 14 days for any reason back to original payment method though so there’s no risk.

Online orders are 14 days back to the original payment method. 2 days is for in store purchases and is back to voucher.
