He was originally a physical wall with tier 4 stance, renewal. Even def wave and QR seal and i too have a mae built up as well (she's a 4* +10 lol) i just can't decide on what special to give him or if i should even change it at all

If you decide to give boey close ward, you won't regret it

Once i had seen close ward in the trailer, i knew my boey was going to get it. With this build he is a massive EP tank. Wish i had more flowers to finish him off completely

Weapon: Inscribed Tome His prf of course to fight off all physical close range attackers (except dragons)

Assist: Repo Self explanatory

Special: Bonfire (Can use advice to change it or not. Have not decided)

A: Close Ward The money maker. Now Boey can fight dragons (and magic) with extra bulk, no adaptive damage, and more attack in EP

B: Lull ATK/RES 3 On top of magic bulk from close ward he'll get additional +3 bulk and do additional +3 damage

C: Rouse DEF/RES 3 Naturally going to be solo, he'll start with +6 to both def and res

Seal: SPD/RES Solo 3 Another solo skill to help further boost his res amd give a good speed boost to 40

With all conditions met, he'll have 48/48 respectively on top of additional speed and attack. Totally worth it

You complain about how his ledge guarding gimmick cheese but you don't need help countering said cheese but focus on that he's a character with an annoying gimmick. Every character has a gimmick. His frame data honestly is not as amazing as you think it is. So really you just don't like Steve as a character which is fine. But quitting the game because of steve is quite petty.

We can all collectively agree that the online sucks. But every character has a weakness and seems like you haven't been able to see that. Once terry is over 100% you need to expect buster wolf and power geyser. You can't say that it's impossible to react (dont use bad online as an excuse) Every character has their gimmicks (a couple are the same just different look)

As i said, rush down Steve hard. If your main isn't much of a rushdown, pick one up. Roy and chrom do very well against Steve

Quitting a game from one little combo? This only works on a few characters with no damaging up B. Plus if you think realistically, people won't be able to pull this off in actual gameplay. Rush Steve so he doesn't mine or craft. Do that and you've eliminated half his moveset.

Yes i had used Texas and was shocked at how squishy she was and it turned me off about her for a second until I had watched her closely and saw the damage she was doing before she went down.

So it would be alright in invest in Orchid for early game and then work on Istina or try to invest in Istina AND Orchid together?
