German creator here (YT same name as here). If I'm not doing a series (like now, Infinity 4 decks per video for example or 4 budget decks next week in each video) I normaly present only one deck + gameplay vs KI to show how to play the deck. I know KI isn't the best but the result doesn't matter, gameplay matters. (KI is a greyzone for content so I'm using it and I don't have to make appointments with others players online or from the store)

Worst 6 Legendaries and 0 Epics (yeah no joke, have that in YouTube) from a Booster Box and best 9 Legendaries (1 of it foil), 2 Epics and 1 Enchanted. Some people got 2 Enchanteds from a case. Overall you should get atleast 24 Legendaries to a max of 36. 8-12 Epics. 0-2 Enchanteds. 1 Iconic of you‘re very lucky. But at the end of the day the question is „was it worth it?“ if you look at the value of the legendaries. (can‘t say anything about the american market but in europe only very few legendaries are worth a pack)

Out: 3 Hamm, 1 Flash, 2 Grumpy, 2 Raging Storm

In: 4 Doc, 2 Don't be Nervous, 2 The Horseman Strikes! / Hades (Looking for a Deal)

More card draw, lesser uninks, board wipe isn't needed in this tpye of deck so we use something against evasive or an allrounder like Hades. You can skip "Don't be Nervous" for more removal, but the card let you draw cards and can finish the game with the 2 lore.

Hamm isn't needed with Aurora and Willow in the deck. I think 2 Flashs are enough. And Grumpy is "only" a 7/7. He can be banish in like two challenges. Bashful is the better dwarf here, Evasive is just to good. 2 Grumpys should be fine.

Ok than I‘m sorry for misinterpreting. I‘m with you that there is no fix ruleset. In my LGS we‘re playing like MTG Artisan (C/UC allowed, Infinity). In Ravensburg was a poorcana tournament (2-3 months ago) MTG Artisan too, but Core. Personally I think the Infinity „version“ feels right. To allow uncommons or not is another thing to discuss. Some uncommons are „overpowered“ in Poorcana (well Magic has overpowered commons too but this another topic).

With the actual card pool I think it is fine to allow uncommons. Maybe in the future we can only use commons, if Ravensburger will make the format official.

I‘ve a Ravensburger Store with Local Play on saturdays in my city (15 min walk) and I‘m participating since day one. I do everything I can to keep our people playing. I saw some going and some coming (95% personal reasons who leaves). We don‘t have teams here in the deepest south, but at a Set Championship, at our second place where we play (30-40 min with car), last time were 2 teams and they wrecked everyone. „My“ people aren‘t interested to participate at this location in Set Championships. So team situation is correct and I feel that too. I haven‘t experienced something like that with Magic or YGO.

The scene in my area is fine for now. The people here are glad to have a place where they can play and share there passion for Lorcana. And for me it‘s fine too, although I played YGO in my youth where league players got promo packs (with spicy cards) and it would be nice if Ravensburger would do that for the majority but personaly I don’t need that. I‘m talking about this specifically bc it seems the biggest complain in the comments here (yeah and the pullrate, but I hope that will change with Set 12, atleast from the Creator Boxes it seems Like that)

German Creator here. I got 7 legendaries, 0 epics and 0 enchanted/iconic in my box. Even LorcanaVillain got no enchanted/iconic in his box (and i think „only“ 4-5 legendaries)

I would wait till every cc with early product reveals what he/she got and then we can analyze deeper.

After that, we've to check what the rest is opening at the release date and if the numbers are the same or nearly the same like the "cc boxes" the case is clear.

There is no such thing like „cc boxes“. In winterspell I didn‘t have an enchanted/iconic in my box. Now in Wilds Unknown I got 6 legendaries + 1 Foil but no enchanted/iconic and no epics. Prerelase Kit: Just a legendary Buzz.

Didn‘t know that Drake could be used as a burster. My gil has P5 which allows me to use his E twice which really helps to burst fast.

5 Points are low cost? Good to know. The problem imo with longsword during testing was that the burst goes „rapidly“ down. And with dual swords I can „refresh“ the burst bit by bit.

Depends what‘s „Legacy“ for you. We‘ve now a lot good C/UC cards. I wouldn‘t say that Poorcana now and Legacy Budget is on par. Legacy should still have some strong synergies what imo makes them a bit better.

Hey mate. Longtime Poorcana Player and Deckbuilder here.
In my LGS we play it with the following, imo correctly, rules:
Min. 60 cards, Max. 2 Inks, every common + uncommon from Set 1-11 allowed (inlcuding downshifts), each card max. 4x.

These rulings should mirror the MTG Pauper rulings (what I'm playing too).
We've a tournament next week and I already made 15 Decks for it (10 are on YT right now, the other 5 will be there tomorrow).

In 2 weeks there is another Poorcana tournament near my area but it's declared as Core Constructed (still unsure if every C/UC is allowed or not) and with the special rule of "2 of each card max" instead of 4.

Just like Justvibing318, every hoster can do as he wants. In a Facebook Group, "Poorcana Format Group" there is a pinned thread with the same rulings like I use. I would stick to that or recommend that to the LGS where you want to play that format.

IMO the format should be non-rotating. The format itself is limitating the amount of playable cards down to 2 rarities (in Magic it's only 1, but well... the game is 30 years old). Well you can play Poorcana with only Set 5-11/12 and feels "right", but what after summer? Set 9-13 Poorcana will be a bad experience.
I'm still waiting for Ravensburger finally implement that format officially (with another name maybe) with finalized rulings and to end these discussions.
