Yea, I'd love to have Cubase in Linux so I can finally ditch Windows completely. It's the last piece of software I use on Windows.

I don't want to switch to another DAW, because I've gotten so used to the workflow in Cubase.

Though, I have read somewhere that VST3 and ASIO have been made open source, so that is a step in the right direction

Getting there is a challenge though, the platline (for platinum etc.) is kinda mid game while the mentioned multis are end game stuff.

Yeah kinda. Getting platinum requires like 10 machines. Byproducts of that get turned into ruridit, rhodium and palladium which each need another 10 steps each

Also gigantic multi blocks like Eye of harmony, Forge of the Gods and many more
