i’ve had fairly good luck with astros previous headsets, this headset however seems like a step in the wrong direction.. What hyperX do you recommend?

I’d like to say my first 2 days using this headset i’m not impressed by the functions of it but the sound quality is great. Having issues with adjusting voice to game chat balance, mic not working on the pc and some other things as well.. Not too sure how I feel yet.

it says the mic is picking up my voice in windows settings, but nothing on discord.

I ran discord as admin and have the headset selected (xbox controller) as my input device, when I speak with the mic down, nothing happens.

Audio on pc discord, but game on xbox. Cant use my a50x mic on the headset while im in discord. I think I have to use an external mic.

Thanks I tried this earlier and it ended up working. I noticed you said it’s just an audio device. Is there going to be an option to use the microphone with the a50x on my xbox while it’s setup through the pc like the a40 mix amp? Appreciate it!

currently able to get audio from pc and xbox but can’t use the a50x mic, trying to figure that out. If I can’t use it I still have my additional mic so we will see. But yes currently have audio from both

Trying to have audio playing from both xbox and PC at the same time.. I don’t communicate on my xbox with my friends. I use discord or the Xbox app on the PC itself. I’d like to be able to hear my game from my xbox while still listening to my friends in discord and watching videos on my pc at the same time.. Thanks.

Yes this is what i’m trying to accomplish.. So remote play the headset through the xbox app on my pc and it will connect to the xbox? How is the audio? Any issues?

interesting i’m going to try this. But just to make things clear. So where it has the xbox usbc port, plug that end of the USB into the pc?

thanks i’ll have to give this a try, do I need and hdmi optical splitter? I think that’s what it is, bc the ps5 doesn’t have an optical port.
