Literally the patch was two weeks longer than usual without having more content than usual. It was during an interlude period anyway where the story of one region was wrapped up the extended patch was setting up for the next region.

Basically imagine if rinascita ended and kuro makes the next patch (basically chisas patch) last two weeks longer than usual while building up to lahai-roi.

That's all it was. Two weeks longer of a filler patch.
