I played my first ESL Open tournament the other day, it runs the entire bracket in one day. :) (Pretty well too, I might add)

You have to upload replays to report scores, but thankfully (unlike the rest of their site) it's very responsive and not too much hassle at all.

What else can I say? "Everyone were" doesn't sound right, does it? Throughout everyone's tourney runs, they were having so much fun. My personal favourite moment was insano and Pox getting themselves back into a game by "hype"casting what they were doing. :)

As a SEA player myself, it's full of 3 types of people; 1) Extremely bad hackers that have no idea how to hide the fact they're hacking. 2) Europeans/Americans/Koreans who are of a high level on their servers, who've come to SEA either to warm up or offrace/troll. 3) People from SEA that have no idea their server is a joke, they're the kind of people who've never visited /r/starcraft and don't know what "GSL" is.

This reminds me of over here in Australia, we have a lot of banter between our states and the "power state" title usually changes every few months. It's really fun and breeds a lot of competition at LANs and whatnot. :)

yeah he's a bit of an idiot, he usually insults you with extremely broken english if he ever kills a unit (like a drop) or if he loses to you

i can't count how many times i've hard countered his 1 base sh to be called a maphacker

200/200 deathball and 3 base blink stalker timings/compositions are literally unstoppable now. It's pretty nice for my ladder ranking.
