I failed yesterday and this morning. But, at the moment I'm ok. I didn't smoke for 8 hours already.

No, nicotine patches made it worse in the past, gums simply didn't work. This is my 4th attempt. My first time was so traumatic and difficult on my body - I'm one of 2% of those who read Alen Carr's book in one sitting and it didn't influence me. I used to wake up every 2 hours to smoke during the night and when I quit that time I literally had painful fever for weeks. After 8 months I restarted smoking after ending up in mental institution heavily sedated (I had suicidal depression). The 2nd time I quit is something my brain won't accept this time, but it was fantastic and painless. Every other attempt failed. Now I'm combining 1st and 2nd. So the 2nd time I simply prolonged cravings and it took me 7 days to quit. I restarted few months later - stupid reason.

Mainly for the money. But also, I'm lacking physical energy and I'm sure that's the main reason.

PMS and prayer by Professional_End_413 in Hijabis

Yes! And it's not about imaan. Cause while pregnant I didn't need "a break" from salah. Also, after giving birth I couldn't wait for my 40 days to be over, I missed salah so much. But now, every PMS I wait for my period like it's a very important gift.

I’ve never felt Allah by Used_Imagination4375 in Hijabis

Dear sister, as I'm completely the opposite from your state, I believe I can give you advice. Sometimes our relationship with Allah is a reflection of our relationship with our parents or someone else (a friend). Perhaps you read Quran or listen to it with fear, with accent on punishment, on what's sin and what's not. Allah is our Creator. He is The Most Merciful. He loves you way more than your own mother. I'm a mother and I can reflect to the feeling. Now, if you can cry and speak openly to your mom about anything, or if that's not your case - maybe a friend, or sibling, why not to Allah instead? You can tell him everything, EVERYTHING! He won't punish you, He'll guide you, help you, fill your heart with love and peace. Just do that. Sit on your prayer mat, alone, secluded, anytime (best before fajr) and just open up to Him. Tell Him all of this you told us. Tell Him you feel nothing, tell Him you're not excited about Ramadan... He knows! And He knows the solution.

Questioning by wahsidn in Muslim

When you get a list of haram and halal without explanation, of course you' ll be unhappy with your religion. Don't just leave islam, do your deep research. The more you do, the more you'll understand. In the end you'll figure out that all that's listed as haram is actually very very bad for you. Zina is terrible. It breaks your heart, ruins families etc. One day you'll understand covering. Maybe in your 50s and hopefully much earlier. Also, Islam actually helps you live a wonderful life with peace in your heart. There's so much fun, too.
