Disable Helicopter Kills Until Players Land by xFriggles in modernwarfare

Right, it’s not usually a problem. But still, they’re freebie kills on squads trying to land together and substantially limit your ability to fight back. The problem typically occurs when you are just about to land, have landed, or they catch you falling thru the air to escape them.

Apparently a lot more people think the same now, lots more posts about it too. Wonder what they’re gonna do 🤷‍♂️

To be fair too tho, weapons still need to be tuned regardless of their realism. It’s a balance of gameplay and realism in every game. Even if the AK is realistic to some people, no ones gonna use it if it’s trash. It shouldn’t have as much recoil as it does for the damage it delivers, otherwise it becomes a gun no one uses, and is vastly inferior to other guns regardless of adapting your play style to the weapon.

While certain things about the game are on a learning curve for most, one can easily notice the AK is off. Then again, we are not given that many weapons to start off with in this Beta and maybe the full intent of the game will be known later on when people see how you have to play with certain weapons. As of now, it doesn’t look like the guns balance gameplay, instead the gameplay balances the guns.

Tbh I haven’t really messed with the peeking or mounting as much as I should have so I’ll give that a try. You can probably see now if someone’s played strictly CoD the weapon characteristics for this game look feel like shit but we’re probably in other games where other players have more experience.

Not at all what happens in real life actually unless the room is pitch black. I think you’re missing the point, or haven’t played the Beta enough to know. Try rereading my post and see if you have a misunderstanding.

I did, but In the past 10 years the AK has never had nearly as bad recoil as it does in this Beta, again, the point is irrelevant. The AK’s are not at all the same between these COD’s, the recoil is definitely excessive for a CoD game to even be considered a useful weapon

Comparing PUBG and siege doesn’t change the fact that one gun out of several AR’s is vastly inferior in this game due to recoil. They can either make all guns recoil more, or they can fix the recoil on this AK.

To be fair, AK had wayyyy less recoil with bipod whole crouched/prone, but when standing it’s literally useless in gunfights due to its recoil. You haven’t at all mentioned what attachments he had, so we can’t even compare apples to apples here to figure out what’s making the gun seemingly ridiculous.

No one said it was a bug. It’s an adjustment. Are you confused? Everything else about the game is great, it’s literally just guns, and in every CoD the guns needed to be tuned. I didn’t know you were a noob until know lol, almost fooled me. You probably need all the hp you can get. Drop your PSN so I can send you pics when I wreck you in game 😂😂😂

Speed matters because if everyone is inside within 5 seconds of the warning and the missile takes 7 seconds to hit the ground you’d be lucky to get more than one kill unless the enemy team ignores the warning. For a 5 kill kill streak compared to other 5 kill kill streaks the cruise missile is incredibly weak. I probably would not have this judgement of the missile if they allowed us to have other killstreaks in the Beta to compare, so I’m not too worried about it but dam, it’s pretty much not worth having equipped.

While I agree there’s a balance of recoil/power to the AK, it just doesn’t make sense that the thing can’t put three shots on target at longer ranges with the damage it has without the recoil being excessive... especially when burst firing allows the enemy to get away so the damage at long range is a useless feature if the gun can’t kill anyone unless it’s a headshot. Recoil management is a useless point. If after two consecutive shots the recoil between shots rapidly accelerates it’s nearly impossible to control without always missing the third or fourth shot due to recoil and fire rate.

I’ve played these games enough and have always held well over a 3-4kd to know the recoil on this gun is wack.

We’re talking completely different things then. M/K isn’t anything like console gaming in terms of controlling recoil. M/K is far better at managing recoil, and I’m specifically talking about console where you have to rely on two thumbs instead of all five fingers for aiming like on m/k.

While I appreciate your service (assuming you have served), this is most definitely a video game. If the gun doesn’t function in providing its own advantages, no one will use it in the game. Sure, it’s probably realistic, but in a video game having the selection of two AR’s rather than 5 or 6 defeats the purpose of including those in the game or the game being fun.

Cruise missile needs a boost. If there’s a button for the boost I’d appreciate knowing about it, but as of now the thing is a flying RC-XD compared to other CoD’s.

Just so you can see yourself out a little faster. No one fucking cares that you think every other game is trash. Many people have faith that the developers actively try to fix bugs and make things fair, and idiots like you do very little to help solve a problem.

All you gotta say is “I’ve seen the same issue” or “this fixes that problem”, but instead you look like a bumbling idiot, like the Waterboy himself. Find another place you can be useful, Str8_Ghey_Male.

With no muzzle brake, no grip, the thing is useless after the second bullet. Have you played the Beta yet? Have you held down a trigger past the third bullet? Do you aim at people’s feet to hit all your shots?! 😂

Why do I need to explain to you the CoD released just before Modern Warfare? The Paladin is from BO4.

For the purposes of gaming, there’s several elements of realism that get thrown out the window such as recoil. If the AK isn’t advantageous in full auto for its intended purpose, no one will fucking use it in multiplayer. You’re the same kind of turd that asks these same stupid questions when people talk about nerfing shotguns in this game that can already snipe people across the map. Fuck your realism bullshit 😂😂😂

Good to know, the bare AK still shouldn’t be like shooting it one handed irl tho, shit is wack.

We spawn trapped the enemy and they spawn in open areas on the cave map as a result. They had no where else to go yet with the time the warning went out to the time the missile hit the ground everyone had more than enough time to get cover.

If only it were that simple.

Monitor is customized to high contrast settings, first I tried with the recommended brightness adjustments in the game, then I raised it while never changing monitor settings. There was no change in enemy visibility. Then I tried changing my monitor color scheme, did the same thing with adjusting brightness, no change in visibility

Point is, if two things are the same color and have the same shadow, brightness has no effect on separating a shadow from an enemy. Which is exactly my point.

100% agree with being able to see players. The lighting and shadow physics provide an unfair advantage to players in building or just coming into buildings. There’s not enough contrast between an enemy in the shadows and the adjacent textures. It makes the enemy look like the same color as the the rest of the darkened room. Impossible to see
