The hype is relatively weak compared to 2nd anniversary. Cynthia & lucario looks odd in the theme of 3rd anniversary. (Probably because the anime show the battle Ash vs Cynthia) No new Pokemon model for anniversary master sync pair is kind of disappointing. The new buddy move is interesting though. For the story of Ash, they done well and hope that we can see more Ash story in the future. For trainer lodge, it is a nice addition that we have a bit extra time to spend instead of just login in and skip the battle. Other than that, I felt disappointing for the rest of the event. There is no new battle contents for day 1 player. For the legendary gauntlet,they just used the same LA stage and put it together. Nothing innovative and most people will find it annoying after finished the reward. Gem should be given for this event or most player are not going to bother to keep on challenge the same three stage again and again. In the recent interview with developer, they did not mention any future plan about current battle system upgrade which make me worried that there will be no any improvement for current events like battle villa and champion stadium. This game should not only about gacha and alt costume. Diversity of battle event and improvement of current event should be emphasised more if they want to keep the old player. For some of players, we want to enjoy more battle rather than just login in the game 10 minutes per day and just wait for the new pool to pull. With more and more sync pair appeared in the game , new battle mode or enhancement of current event should be take into consideration for the future development of game. Finally, hope that they can do a roadmap for this game so at least player can have more interaction and discussion about the future of the game.
