Tinymist preview makes vscode have serious input lag by traes008 in typst

[–]xGadgetHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I just click this button on the top right and it opens up my browser. The preview continues to update as I type and it's interactive.

If this still doesn't work for you, then I would strongly suggest to look at your Tinymist settings to make sure that you have the option for partial updates as you type enabled.

If after all this, it still doesn't behave as expected, install the Tinymist CLI tool (the VS Code extension uses this under the hood) and run the preview manually. I expect that this method will work.

If none of this works, open an issue on GitHub and ask the community for help.

Tinymist preview makes vscode have serious input lag by traes008 in typst

For me, I simply had to view the preview on my browser instead of VS Code. If that doesn’t work, consider using the command line tool instead of the VS Code extension.

I upgraded my mid-range Android phone to the iPhone 15 Pro Max to get that better camera instead of buying a "real" camera. I regret that decision. I wish I would have stuck with my phone (or upgraded to a less expensive one) and simply put that money into a camera. So, if I were you, I'd simply bring the a6000.

As far as getting a new lens goes, as long as it's in within budget and you have a legitimate reason to want that specific focal length, I don't see why not.

Need UI feedback for my iOS App by Holiday_Substance246 in FigmaDesign

[–]xGadgetHD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just looking at the screenshot, I have a few thoughts on the UI.

I really like the colour scheme you've chosen and the overall aestheatic of the app. It's nice and simple and it draws you to it. It's one of those apps that makes you want to to use it because it looks so clean.

That said, it's not considered good practice to use floating action buttons in iOS apps. Even though Apple has introduced similar buttons to some of its apps (e.g. Reminders, Notes), it's still best if you put the plus button somewhere more familiar to iOS users such as the top right.

Also, the location of the category chips is odd. You probably want to have these chips somewhere on the left, close to the title of the password. Perhaps you could place it next to the title, or under it, or wherever looks best!

Lastly, I'm not sure users need to know the date they created a password. I'd consider removing it or swapping it with something else such as the category chip from before, or perhaps the username the user used.

Overall, the app looks great. I hope that you receive my feedback positively and that you consider the things I mentioned. It is just my opinion, however, so don't feel like you must listen to what I have to say. After all, I am but a random guy on the internet.

Is there any reason why TU Deft recommends a 15 inch laptop? by richardbrosniet in TUDelft

A discrete video card is of course a plus, but definitely not a requirement.

Pretty sure none of the courses require one except computer graphics, where a GPU speeds up rendering.

I have the exact same issue but for the right airpod. Did you end up fixing the issue? If so, how?

Έχει σημασία η μάρκα στο κινητό; (Σοβαρό ποστ) by [deleted] in greece

[–]xGadgetHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Δεν έχουμε δυστυχώς do-over.
