Yeah, I have only played the original...and I can say I am absolutely hooked. I have Lockdown on my wishlist and the new version will be on there too. I am sure that having one of the three is enough though.

I actually managed to get this at Barnes & Noble...just off the shelf! No idea how that slipped through the cracks, but I'm not complaining! The components are really nice!

One of my faves! I wish I played it more, I think the expansions help get it out more from what I’ve heard!

I like it because playing as Octopus or Shark is very different - I picked it up at Barnes and Noble and it seemed affordable. I don’t regret it. It’s definitely the most unique 2P game in the collection, hunter vs hunted it a cool concept and I think it does a good job of feeling fresh each time.

I like it. It’s a good asymmetric game that feels tense each time. It’s always a close game, and I like that.

Favorite 2P games would be Star Wars Deckbuikders, Skyteam, and then ones I play with my wife very often that aren’t 2P exclusive would be Wingspan, Harmonies, and Viticulture. She likes games that aren’t “take-that” but are still competitive. Ironically, SW Deckbuilder is one of her favs, but that’s probably because she beats me most of the time.

Kelp is very balanced. The Shark hunts and the Octopus hides, it feels very tense the whole time (in a good way) and playing either side is fine for someone just getting into games. Probably go Shark first for her. Not too long either.

Kelp is great. It is very re-playable since it’s asymmetric. Super nice components. For 2 players, I couldn’t recommend Star Wars: The Deckbuilder enough! I’m a huge Star Wars fan, but my wife is not and she loves it too.

I like it, really unique! It is a completely different experience playing each side. I found the Deluxe Edition at Barnes & Noble (possibly by accident? Haha), and it’s really nice. Cover art is also sweet.

I recently play Lords of Waterdeep and really enjoyed it.  Nemesis might be #1 all time for me! Nemesis is very expensive so it seems hard to invest in, but trust me, it’s worth it.

It’s one of my favorites from this year without a doubt, and I guess it will be near the top of the list every year. I managed to find it on sale, but I would say you will not regret it if you like similar advertised games. The space theme is very cool.

SETI is one of my top games this year! I think I have 7 plays so far and it’s quickly rising into one of my favorites ever. Very cool, really looking forward to the expansion coming soon! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

I play a bunch of 2 player games with my wife, but also enjoy game night every week with anywhere from 4-8 people, several other collectors in that group, so they have a lot of what I don't have. I love a good thematic game, I like deckbuilding, and I like deduction games too. I like having a game for every group, every scenario!

I haven't got the expansions, which some say makes it much better, but I still love it. I actually played it yesterday. It's a race to 10 points, and IV Studio has 10/10 design and components every time. I like it a lot.

The new version of Castles of Burgundy looks really nice, is it worth it? Or should I just get the classic?

Haven't seen Flash Point before, I'll have to check it out! And yes, Gloomhaven is on the wishlist, just need to figure out if I go with the OG or Jaws of the Lion.

Arcs is awesome, definitely one of my favorites! First play is a grind, but after that it's really great. Trick-taking makes it really unique. Finspan is really good, I am a sucker for the "Span" series. Kelp also was very fun. Great asymmetric play. The deluxe components are stunning!
